Sitting here at the borgata parking lot looking at the Golden Nugget hotel and casino. Nice place especially with the marina but it could use a power washing bed. I hope that's not what's inside rooms looking at the outside I would be judging it by the way it looks. Just saying

Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino & Marina Address: 600 Huron Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 Prior I called golden nugget specifically and asked if it was child friendly as I was coming with two young girls under the age of thirteen. I stated we were not coming to gamble and I was coming to rest while the kids enjoy the hotel. On that call I was assured that the golden nugget was a perfect place for families. I was told that there were many kids in the hotel with children activities. I asked how the rooms were and was advised we would have plenty of room for (3) people to sleep in each bed. When I arrived nothing in the resort reflected the online advertisement. Nothing that was confirmed on the phone with me was true. The service and the rooms are falsely advertised as well as the hotel. - Golden nugget boasts a family environment yet there are no kids in the hotel. - There is not one child in the hotel resort other than my two that weekend. - The beds in the room are beyond small and I had to sleep on the floor Friday and Saturday night. The rooms have very small twin beds. You cannot sleep in bed with your spouse or even your child together. One has to sleep on the floor. - The entire hotel smells of old cigar smoke. Everywhere and very badly. - I made a complaint at the front desk and asked for an upgrade because I had to sleep on the floor. The hotel told me no upgrades, sorry there's nothing they can do. ( I just wanted a normal size bed) - I was told I could not be helped, and I was sent a pillow to my room. - On top of that the entire hotel reeks of cigar smoke and that is a terrible environment for children. - There are multiple fire extinguishers damaged throughout the hotel and the pillows are strapped down with wire ropes as if somebody is going to steal them.- Multiple people were walking around the hotel smoking weed- There was party in the room next to mine Saturday night with music so loud our four year old could not go to sleep until 5 am in the morning. - Saturday night security was not sober at the elevators and was not checking peoples cards. - There were people going in and out of rooms , drunk in the elevators and not appropriate for children to be around. - There is no WIFI horrible service and the is no technology in the hotel at all. I am alerting the better business bureau .Families need to be aware that you are advertising a family - kid friendly environment. Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino & Marina is 100% not for children at all. In fact is outdated and somewhat dangerous. The staff does not seem to care about anyone's comfort. No one is happy or accommodating that works at the hotel. My family visits Atlantic city 3- 4 times a year. This is the 1st time that we did not stay at the hard rock Or showboat hotel. Choosing the golden nugget was absolutely the worst decision We could have made for our family weekend away. Total waste of my money and time. Even worse I put myself in danger and my family. I demand a refund. I was lied to by the staff upon booking about the hotel. The Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino & Marina grossly exaggerates about the cleanliness of the hotel and its enmities. This is beyond the cancelation p[policy that the hotel is stating the reason why I cannot get refunded. We did not cancel we had no choice but to sleep on the floor until we left Sunday.

Check your betting ticket before you walk off. Guy that took my bet actually remembered me and my wager and said he could do nothing because he entered incorrectly. They don’t pay attention and show no kind of accountability.

Golden Nugget is a disaster. Literally use anyone else, except maybe Barstool.

I'm posting this on behalf of a good friend of mine (he's not on social media) who has kept his boat at the Golden Nugget Marina for over 6 years. From April - November he's typically in the Golden Nugget Casino daily. In the off season he drives down weekly. Between the dinning at the Casino restaurants and gambling (usually on the higher ticket machines)his average spend in well over $1k a month, that's on top his dock fees. Additionally, he has referred other boaters to the casino and the marina. In 2020 he was issued a elite Chairmans club card. He enjoyed the benefits of visiting the club and meeting friends who also would gamble in the Casino. His card and elite benefits were recently revoked because he was under the spend limit (mostly due to a recent medical issue) however, his card had a expiration date of 2023 and he had planned on catching up. He was told to speak to Corrine about this issue, and was treated very poorly by her. She spoke in a very unprofessional and demeaning manor, and physically took his card away from him and refused to return it. Typically we prefer not to write anything negative on social media sites without contacting a manager first, however Corinne was impossible to deal with and left us no other option. Nobody should be treated by hospitality professional the way Corrine treated my friend. Because of the unprofessional way he was treated many of other boaters on his dock as well as himself are planning to frequent other casinos. They treat their guests a lot better and provide more benefits their regulars customers.

I wish they would take care of this place updates are desperately needed. Everyone that works here from the security guards to the slot attendants all the servers are amazing helpful and deserve better. I'd say the pool is the one saving grace but that too hasn't been revamped in at least 10 years I mean can you at least change out the chair cushions. The walls are paper thin and we were jolted awake by a baby one morning way before 6am and then by a group of keys just say girls raised with no class or respect. We had planned on staying another day but went to oceans instead. I used to love it here but it's looking worse each time I come back

Full update of the golden nugget with the mold in the rooms and the false accusing myself of multiple things that came out to be false and lied by the director of security and risk management I am no longer a high roller at the golden nugget they move my status down to a 24k hold member it's a beginner card meanwhile I wouldn't jackpots have to jackpots have the jackpots in the casino and this past week I won about $9,000.00 from the golden nugget no hand payouts just individual winnings winnings so I cannot figure out why they want to lower my status instead of just going from elite to chairman they went from a league member to 24k gold makes no sense to me and when I brought it to their attention They were tension and they told me that I was wrong so for some odd reason somebody's wrong and it's actually then....!!!!!????? The worst thing is I couldn't backup my winnings and losings that I did at the golden nugget to do that I have an Instagram page and my Instagram page shows me I'm winning constantly and taking photo Ops with the slot machines each and every time we're getting hand payouts a video that we do it all the time and receiving money from the cashiers all the time... Anybody can help me out with a private attorney or a civil manner attorney or a medical attorney that has the mold problem going on in the casino and please let me know and send me a message to Yelp thank you.... I play the hard rock and the borgata and the ocean and I went a lot of money there

Stayed at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City on a recent Monday and Tuesday nights. I think "low key" is the defining aspect of this hotel/casino. And for me that's a good thing! I had gone in to the casino previously but didn't realize that the Huron Ave. entrance is the main entrance. There is not much signage or lighting that other casinos usually have at the main entrance. Valet parking is available and for one $10 payment, I was able to access my vehicle multiple times during my stay! Pretty nice! The room was acceptable despite an initial faint whiff of old tobacco smoke that quickly wore off. The lighting was better than most of the AC hotel rooms, there was a nice view of the water and some of the other hotels, the carpeting was not old, and the room was accented in tasteful tile work. Bathroom was sparkling clean and well lit. There's a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. There were enough electrical outlets in the room to charge my phone and ipad. I was pleasantly surprised knowing it's an aging 3 star property operating in tough times. The only real bummer was the television! A large flat screen, but only 480 db TV which made for a dull out of focus picture with many audio and visual dropouts. The remote barely worked and only then with lots of pressure on the buttons. I ended up watching the news on my ipad. They really should upgrade those televisions! The food scene could use an upgrade as well. I ate at Michael Patrick's, the coffee shop/diner type place across from the casino entrance. The food there was decent and the prices are within reason. Staff were all very polite and attentive. The Asian restaurant isn't open until Thursday through Sunday. I couldn't even find the other restaurants, and when I tried to follow the directory in the elevator, I got off on floors that were completely deserted, with misleading signs to nonexistent destinations. I ended up driving off property to eat as the choices at the Golden Nugget were lacking. I like playing in this casino in part because it is on the quiet side, not as crowded or raucous as some of the other places in Atlantic City. Dealers are experienced and have been polite and gracious in my experience. So except for the TV, I was comfortable in the regular room at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, and I do like the casino and the low key crowd there. I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Nugget and look forward to my next visit!

They opened back up 7/2...I came here today around 6:30pm...not many people here. Maybe 25% of what I usually saw. The old rugs and fixtures from the time of Trump Marina still have not been replaced. The stench of old smoky hotel with perfume cover up cleaner still in the air like a cloud. The machines are randomly disabled for social distancing but a lot of the good one's I wanted to play were not enabled. There was an attendant at the door flashing your forehead for your temp. Masked patrons keeping there 6 ft. Away from each other. Smoking areas were clear of smokers which now allowed anyone to play machines they were not able to play before. During this closure period I feel They should have spruced up the place. And theres also too many machines with bad picture tubes and no sound which makes for a sub par experience while you keep feeding the slot machines which might as well be called a deposit! I won nothing and those around me weren't either. I felt like a night at the museum. Playing with different games and feeling alone because none if us were talking to each other. I had an experience but it wasnt one that I will run back to do any time soon!!!

Real Gold is always a sight to see. Was told in Las Vegas at Golden Nugget years ago, that their location(s) display a real live pure Gold. The comment holds true while here at the Golden Nugget in AC - NJ. At this location they claim to have the 'World's largest Gold Nugget', called the "Hand of Faith" weighing in at 875 troy ounces. When was the last time you calculated converted 'troy' weight? Assuming if your aren't a jeweler or Gold Exchange location owner/associate, not recently. As is from chemistry course in H.S., loosely remember like one sentence in a text book...maybe :) Well that's 61+ pounds of solid gold. Pretty cool! Definitely check it out when you come to the Golden Nugget Casino in AC.
