We attended their seminar for timeshare ownership during our stay and while we shared the fact that we had seem numerous homeless individuals along with drug addicts within our first hours of being at the palace, they did not seem surprised at all; describing it as normal even for their area. Not only did we not take part in ownership, we fled the resort when security failed to keep someone from damaging our vehicle. Would never recommend to stay here let alone leavetake part in time share ownership. We felt very insecure from the moment we checked in and left our reservation early as a result of the damages that were incurred during our stay at the Atlantic Palace.

Very comfortable accommodations. Conveniently located with boardwalk access.Parking garage is not attached to the building. The multi-floored garage is rather small to drive in or out.

Greta place to stay when you come to Atlantic City if you don't want to stay in a casino. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are a great size.

They put us in a handicapped room. It was really inconvenient for someone not in a wheelchair. The entire place smelled like pot in spite of it being smoke free. The real problem was that a few of the employees smelled like pot in the elevator and when the were resetting adjacent rooms. All in all the room was nice enough. The staff was pretty much in their own little world and not very attentive. The timeshare pitch was a two hour waste of time. They took too long and handed us off to too many "managers" who kept offering us cheaper offers. This sales technique went out in the 90's.The location was good. They can do better, especially with service, but honestly most of the bars restaurants and casinos in AC seem to have given up as well

Great view in room. Rooms were not as clean as they should be - I had to clean tub and jets myself. I bring my own cleaning product. Floor dirty in bathroom and kitchen. Lots of Crumbs under sofa cushions, dusty tables, etc. staying for a week - gave us 2 towels for the week, no kitchen towels, dishwasher soap, silverware pieces missing. Dishes and glasses were missing and was not a complete set for 4 - didn’t replaced. Had to call for soap, towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, trash bags. No excuse for that. Microwave door hinge was off. No amenities and no housekeeping if you want a cleaning - they now charge you. I had a disabled guest who parked her car on the street for one hour to visit and she ended up with a $51.00 ticket. Why should I pay a ticket for my guest when I am staying here. Money hungry. Hotel won’t help you. Beggars all over boardwalk asking for money. AC has gone downhill. Don’t stay out late here. Years ago this place was really nice but now they give you nothing. Shame on this company.Safety: Don’t go out late there. Not safe.

This place is very outdated. The furniture is from the 80's and destroyed. Wallpaper is falling off the walls in the hallways. The room smells of stale cigarette smoke and dirt. It was neat, but very unhealthy to stay there.Furniture is from the 80's and very worn. The mattress was like sleeping on sacks of rotten potatoes. Uneven in many spots and not supportive. Air conditioning was very noisy as well.It smelled of stale cigarette smoke, smelled musty and dirty.Upon checking out, we were not asked how our stay was or why we were checking out so early. She did say, "Oh you're checking out two days early?" But didn't bother to ask why?It is not in a very safe area of Atlantic City. The parking garage is very small and is 5 levels high without an elevator or access to the hotel. The stairway in the garage hasn't been cleaned or painted since it was built. Railings are rusted and the whole garage and stairway smells of urine, probably from the many homeless people in the area using it for a bathroom and shelter. This hotel is very outdated. The furniture is from the 80's and destroyed. Wallpaper is falling off the walls in the hallways. The room smells of stale cigarette smoke and dirt. It even had cigarette burns on the ledge of the plastic tub. The shower is a very small fiberglass unit like you would have in a small RV trailer. I am 6'3" and weigh 215 pounds. So, although I am tall, not fat by any means. I couldn't even bend over to get the shampoo bottle off the floor without hitting the walls. The mattress was like sleeping on sacks of rotten potatoes. Uneven in many spots and not supportive. Air conditioning was very noisy as well. The room had a musty dirty smell like the carpets had been shampooed 100's of times and mold was growing in the pad underneath. We only spent one night there of our three day stay. The only reason we stayed the one night was because we were very tired from traveling. Upon checking out, we were not asked how our stay was or why we were checking out so early. The lady at the desk did say, "Oh you're checking out two days early?" But didn't bother to ask why? Obviously, unhappy guests are a common occurrence at the Atlantic Palace.

Great sales people. Really rude when you don't sign up for the time share especially that one tall popping her neck and lips broad that shouldnt be employed but I will be there in full in January the latest and if the vip deal isn't honored at that time. Well I'll just invest in the million of other opportunities. But gave is a great individual and I hope we can do business in the future

Employees walk in front of you to get on elevators, and through doors. Very limited supply of washcloths. Sorry I don't reuse washcloths. Remote quit working on tv, no one would come after they said someone would come up to fix it. Soap scum in standup shower. They require a 24 hour reservation for housekeeping. No thank you. Skip this one, glad we didn't buy the timeshare.

Check in was at 4. We didn't get the key to our room until 7:30 and it is not service with a smile and no apology. I realize it is a partial kitchen but most of the drawers are empty--not enough utensils and pots and pans.Walkability: Right on the Boardwalk

For clarity I was traveling with my wife and two children (3 years and 8 months) for a quick getaway to watch the AC Airshow.Where to start...1st the parking garage: It's 6 stories dimly lit, very narrow, 6'6" clearance, with no elevator and does not connect to the hotel.2nd Check In: Apparently check in is not until 4PM and that's if the room is ready. Mine was not, I received a text saying that our room would not be ready until 5pm. After arguing with the front desk I was finally able to check in at 4:30pm (great.. now I just need to get 4 people unpacked, showered and changed before our 5:30 dinner reservation 10min away).3rd The elevators: What a joke. There are only 3 and they take FOREVER. Be fully prepared to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes in order to catch a ride. If your room is on a lower floor take the stairs, especially going down because every car will be full by the time it reaches you.4th The room: We had a Jr Suite.. fancy right? NOT. While the cleanliness of the room was fine the pull out couch had no sheets, the bed's blankets were thin hard. The shower... good luck. A porta potty has more space and a drinking fountain has more water pressure. Also, if your room ends in 11 you share a wall with the elevators and it will sound like helicopters are circling the hotel at close range all day/night long (great if you have 2 small children or your wife is a light sleeper). You won't have any disposable cups in the bathroom and if you use a glass you better clean it! Or else they'll charge you $50.5th The Staff: As far as everyone I encountered... not great. They come across as a salty staff that just doesn't give a shoot anymore. Aside from the one young guy at the front desk in the afternoon no one else cares about you. You're just bothering them.I clearly do not recommend staying here. I'm not a hotel snob by any means and I'm not one to write reviews, but this hotel is a rip off. What was supposed to be a fun family trip to see the AC Air Show for the first time was completely ruined by this hotel.

Our room was fine, except for the mold on the shower curtain. Our view wasn't the best, but we could see the ocean from the room. Called for more paper products twice, and they were still never delivered hours later when we got back. Housekeeper was cleaning the room next door and gave us what we needed. This is a timeshare resort that we booked through priceline, so maybe we weren't top priority?? Pool is on the 3rd floor and not heated. There is no hot tub. Location is on the boardwalk with free access to the beach, but definitely shady area with tons of pot smoke in the air and homeless people on the boardwalk. I suppose it's great if you're younger, into clubs and gambling, but I don't know if I'd want to be here as a parent with young kids. Ocean City is a much better choice, although be aware it's a dry town, so BYOB!!Rooms: Some rooms seem to be more updated than others. Heard a woman complaing when we checked inNearby activities: Obviously tons of gambling, rides for kids ect.Walkability: Right on the boardwalkNoteworthy details: Check in first, then get your parking pass. Garage is tight, but they also have an outdoor parking area. Cost us $45 for the week

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms had some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that would prevent me from coming back. A scratch here or there is the least of my worries. The view and location are unbeatable. Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. We booked through a airbnb and it was easy to park and retrieve our key. Highly recommend. Wish we had more time to check out the pool and spa area.Nearby activities: Boardwalk , Casinos, restaurants, beach

My wife and I loved Atlantic Palace! Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a great oceanfront room with a view of both the Central and Steel Piers. Everyone at Atlantic Palace - including staff and other guests - were pleasant and friendly. We have found our new go-to weekend getaway!

This place was absolutely horrendous. We had a week planned on our honeymoon because of the location to the beach and the views from the room (which did live up to expectations) but that was about the only upside. The location had tons of homeless people living nearby and lines to get into clubs across the street, not a big deal to everyone but worth being aware of. When we got there the elevators were broken so everyone was stuck waiting for hours to get to/from their rooms while one elevator was in service. We weren't allowed to get a luggage cart to unload our car and the bellhop couldn't be found regardless of how many times the staff radioed for him. Some of the other guests who were waiting for help with luggage had been neglected for hours as well. After we finally found him he refused to help and gave us attitude about it being too difficult and he then went on a rant about wanting a tip before service was given. There were half-eaten chicken wings on the floors and the room itself was no better. There were crumbs in the microwave, the dishes had dried food on them and were not clean, the bathroom had used soap in it and the sheets were dirty with sand and hair from previous guests even though the bed had been made. The room also did not have any towels or toilet paper. Whenever we called down they just told us that that was too bad and that housekeeping was gone for the day, but we could come to the front desk ourselves but it would take us at least an hour to get there. There was also a hot tub advertised but turns out most rooms no longer have them. The staff was mostly rude and unaccommodating and we just left after the second day. Absolutely not worth it and will never be coming back.
