Love the Vintage theme, but the pictures on the internet need to be updated because this place lost its glow and glory years ago. The property, rooms, and furniture have not been properly maintained. You can tell housekeeping is lazy, and whoever inspects the rooms is just as bad. They do not have mattress covers on their beds to protect against bed bugs, no fitted sheets, just 1 flat sheet to separate your body from the bare mattress and no hypoallergenic pillow covers on the pillows as well as the pillows are old, worn, and raggedy. They do not sanitize the facility as they should, including counters, handles, hand rails, knobs, buttons, and elevators. The carpet by the arcade area smells like straight urine, a pair of pants was on the ground by the arcade area during my entire 6 day stay and I literally watched security and staff walk past it each time like it wasn't there. The pool was dirty and murky, and when it rains, the ceiling window and light fixtures were leaking into the pool. No telling what kind of bateria that alone is dripping into the pool.?♀️ One of the main reasons I chose this hotel is because of its no smoking and no pets policies, because of my allergies, and yet, I watched them check in a woman with a dog that she rolled around in a dog stroller and the smell of marijuana was just about everywhere. The parking garage garbage has not been emptied in days. It costs $25 per day, plus tax just to park your car at the hotel. The quality of this place has definitely gone downhill. WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME STAYING HERE!Rooms: Furniture not maintained, poor housekeeping, roaches, no mattress or pillow covers, and no microwaves.

0 stars DO NOT recommend!Awful hotel, awful service!1. Pool closed until 2 hours before check out (Indoor pool closed for rain)2. First room not cleaned from previous occupants3. Second room had wallpaper hanging from the walls (but it’s ocean front)4. Ice machine broken on four floors5. Elevator stopped working and we had to find someone to help get our wheelchair bound adult daughter to the ground floor from the 19th floor.6. Get home to find 200.00 worth of charges on our card! Waiting for them to call back now! This place was dirty and the staff was rude. The only saving Grace was the great dinner we had in the restaurant but even they double charged our card for our meal. Two adults and a child 227.48 for one meal???Safety: Stay OFF of the elevators!!

Have you ever been to a hotel and not be provided with towels? That was ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Checked in the night and was told that the previous shift told them there were no towels. Up to 11am, checkout time, still no towels. A flea bitten MOTEL would have towels. Please don't respond with your generic apology, because that's just a waste of time.

The location is excellent, the hotel is gross, the staff are unprofessional. It is old and not maintained. It is not as nice as depicted online. I had requested 2 rooms close or adjoing at reservation and had been asked to call the morning of by your manager. I did as requested. Upon check in, which took WAY too long, I got a snarky comment from your staff member about me calling. Several of the elevators did not work. We had to wait for 5-8 minutes just to get an elevator. Once we took the stairs down to avoid the elevator since we were only on the 9th floor. There was trash and broken liquor bottles in the stairwell. Rooms had very poor lighting. I had dropped my charging cord behind the table and was disgusted by the amount of dust and grime when I reached down to get it. There was a huge hairball in the shower. To top it off, when we left after checking out, our truck had been hit in the parking garage. I guess the old saying, "you get what you pay for", is correct in this case.

This hotel has REALLY gone down hill. Stood overnight since my last stay in 2019 and I was really disappointed. I had the ocean front room and what good is an ocean front when you can literally hear everything from your neighbors room? The tv, the conversations, loud music.. you will also hear the crowds of people standing out of in front of your room, as the room was located exactly across from the elevators?? The beds were so uncomfortable, felt like I was sleeping on cardboard and the blankets are so thin, the hospital quality is better. This hotel needs some serious updates. For 1, express check in. Everyone is coming to check in at 4:00pm so be prepared to stand in line for an hour plus just to get your room key and another 15 mins after, just to get an elevator. The only pro was the location, being able to access Bally’s and Cesar’s and Wild West, but for the most part I will never stay here again. Spend a little more to be comfortable, please.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I’ve been at this hotel for a few hours and I am already disappointed. Every floor has 15-20 minute lines for the elevators making it next to impossible to get from your room to outside and vice versa. The only way we’ve found to get in and out is an 11-floor trek up or down the stairs. Rooms and bathrooms are ancient, beds are at least 20 years old.

If I could give them zero stars I would have. The rooms were not cleaned, our companions got a room that was never even made, the place is old and they do just the basic repairs, it was raining when we were there and the INDOOR pool was closed because of the rain. The staff bordered on nasty when quesabout anything. It's really a shame what happened to a once proud hotel, won't ever be back we used to come 3 or 4 times a summer

I spent my Birthday weekend at the Claridge in this 24 floor building only 2 elevators were working...making the elevator at times twenty to thirty minutes wait... my second day there housekeeping stole my 2 brand new bras...i contacted front desk and they referred me to housekeeping who never got back to me... then the front desk agent told me she can not call a manager because no one was going to answer the phone...this led me to have to drive home without a bra...called front desk back next day and Miguel hung up the phone and did not answer the phone after calling back he kept picking up phone and hanging it up...i was told by lisa no one found my bras then she said one bra was found and locked in the director of housekeeping office i also talked to yolanda who was just as confused as me because me and my boyfriend cleaned that room from top to bottom and still didnt find it...when yolanda did reach back out she said that both bras were found and that a young lady bought it down to her. still confused she referred me to speak to Nicole the housekeeping director...i contacted her this morning and she was very rude saying she would not be able to compensate for my item which were brand new and that now i have to wait until April 11 to talk to a general manager. this is very annoying and they are very unproffessional. the whole housekeeping team is trying to cover up their wrongdoings and i am not going for it and they will definitely be hearing from my lawyers...i have never stayed at a unprofessional hotel such as this...i asked for a vacuum housekeeping never. i paid over $600 for this room they didnt have a problem with charging my card so why are they giving me a problem about my belongings.

DO NOT BOOK at THIS HOTEL - PERIOD!Staff is fine, location is fine, but the quality of rooms and overall condition of the hotel is worse than a third world country hotels. Worst experience I have ever had. Had to book another hotel and check out the same day I checked in, but they still charged me for the night, parking fee, and resort fee. You will regret greatly booking a room in this hotel. Just DON’T DO IT!

Bedbug. No refund. Need I say more? Nobody cared that a bedbug was found crawling towards me on the crisp white sheets at 10pm. I took pictures, caught it in a cup, & attempted to show a manager. They sent their pest control company who inspected the room 5 days later and I was told it was negative for bedbugs. Total bull$hit and uncaring staff including manager Jen.Rooms: Bedbug in case you didn't read the review above.

The heat did not work. The air conditioning blew on high all night. Room was barely 60 degrees. Then the next day we had a puddle on our bed from a roof that leaked. You can tell this ceiling had been repaired previously. My husband's suit he was supposed to wear to dinner was drenched. They kept giving us the run around about a new room. Was told they have many people that had leaks and they didn't have any other rooms available. We camped out in the lobby until we got a new room and that only happened because I threw a fit. Asked to talk to the manager and she hid in the back room. Pool was also closed because of a Crack in the glass ceiling. The new room we moved to did not have heat either. They refused to compensate us in any way and we never even got an apology.

I stayed here Presidents’ Day weekend. I stayed here because it was close to the Venue I had and because it was in expensive. When I arrived I had driven 3 hours so I wanted to shower No Hot Water so I went to sleep. When I woke again No Hot Water I called the front desk to be told maintenance was working on it. I went out for a walk my Venue was that evening so I was wasting time. Now it’s Saturday night arrived Friday still no Hot Water so I had to go to my event without showering. When I came back I wanted to definitely shower I called the front desk no answer wanted to go down but I would have had to wait 30 minutes for the Elevator. So skip to my check out. NowI’m checking out there is a line of people complaining obviously the same reason and more people had pictures of mold etc. When I finally got up to the counter I made my simple complaint and was given the managers card to be told since I booked through a third party to contact them and it would be simple to have the third party call her… after numberous calls there has been no answers. I tried contacting by phone, email. I am so mad because even though I said the price was good it was Still over 350.00 for that price in February I would have appreciated some hot water

,,,I was so disappointed during my stay at the Claridge; the elevators went out of service twice over the weekend, I was bitten during my sleep by roaches; at checkout, there were several other guests complaining about infestation issues. One guest actually had an offending bug in a plastic bag, as proof.I looked to complain to the BBB, as it turns out, the Claridge is not accredited, and has a rating of 1 on the BBB web page.
