“I will try to keep this short but I could go on and on about how amazing Ronald McDonald House is!! Two weeks ago our 5 year old son was transported to Cooper for a horrible case of pneumonia. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at RMH while our son was fighting the battle of his life. When we walked through the doors of RMH my jaw dropped. It is so unbelievably beautiful, clean and CALM! The sense of peace we would feel whenever we walked in was indescribable. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles and they were there for us when we needed to talk or needed anything that we didn’t pack with us. Our room was gorgeous and beds were so comfortable! The meals that were prepared were so delicious and comforting!! Our daughter was able to visit us there because she was too young to visit her brother in the hospital. She didn’t want to leave!! We developed friendships quickly with other parents going through the same thing we were and I will cherish those relationships forever! I will never stop raving about RMH and will donate to them whenever I can because without them there my husband and I would have had to commute over an hour back home. We were able to stay by our sons side during his two week hospital stay when he needed us the most. I will forever be grateful for everyone at RMH!! WE LOVE YOU Ronald McDonald house of Southern NJ!!!”

They take kids who are not that well off and acutally teach them a valuable life skill like cooking. talked to a kid there that said if it wasnt for this place, he would be in really bad shape in life. Food is very good and they all seem to love what the are doing. thank you for the good you do in the communitty.”
“My family went for a Sunday swim day and they really enjoyed themselves. I got there a little later than everyone but really enjoyed watching my grandchildren have fun. I did get a chance to get in the pool which is a little small but clean. Nice place for families.”

“If you want to give your kids a lifelong love for the game please I implore you to sent them to Legacy. The program for munchkins are well designed for fun and also most importantly the fundamentals in the game. I’m very much impressed with the drills that are used on 4-7 year olds. I wished I had this as a child. The ratio of coach to kids were 1 to 4 on average depending on the day but not more than 1 to 6.”

“There are so many things to love about this theater. It's one of those old school "event cinema" venues, ideal for film festivals (like the Philadelphia Film Festival held here). The theater is also home to the Philadelphia Film Society, run by people who love and appreciate all aspects of a good cinema experience. As such, the Film Center has incredible sound design, top-tier projection, and a taught, clean screen.The staff here is also super friendly and solution's-oriented. There were a few instances in which I faced ticket purchasing issues, and the staff always went above and beyond to address them.Some downsides: They sometimes don't answer the phone or respond to emails (especially around festival times), the theater doesn't have precise blackout panels to match a film's aspect ratio (so films aren't always masked properly with the manual side curtains), and you won't find comfortable recliners here. But these cons are slight in comparison to the experience you get (right in Center City, to boot).I wish I lived closer to Philly so I could take fuller advantage of the Film Center's offerings. Regardless, as long as this theater keeps showing film classics on film and digital 4k, I'll remain a loyal patron!”

“I attended PCK 2 years ago and graduated. It was one of the best experiences in my adult life. Not only did I learn culinary skills, I learned and relearned interpersonal skills, updated my math skills, learned to work as part of a team. PCK changed my life for the better. Superb training, great chefs, administrators and other students that I will always be fond of. PCK gives and gives and gives. It is a gift that keeps on giving to their students and to the community. I am a chef now and love it. Im a healthy 63 yr young woman who embarked on a passion...a dream.PCK makes dreams come true. Soon I will be going further with my education...my culinary dream to study more at one of the best culinary schools in the world and continue to use all the positive training and life enhancing experiences I received and gained at Philabundance Community Kitchen. I will always be grateful to the donors, owner, chefs, teachers, and staff and volunteers and fellow students. “This office offers day trips in addition to longer stay trips … I have never been disappointed with the staff who are always willing to help and if they cannot help a consumer they can direct you to the right place. Their services for loaning equipment is amazing. Their meals on wheels program is awesome for those individuals who are homebound. Thank you for your Respite program too.”
