“We stopped by on a VERY special trip with my 78-year old mother and were treated like royalty. Special thanks to Dante and Lindsay for their INCREDIBLE customer service and, of course, Chef Yoon for the most delicious and beautiful chocolate and marzipan confections I've ever had--and I've been fortunate to have sampled from around the world. Make a point to try Stick with Me whether online or while in NYC--you will not be disappointed!”
“The best chocolate store in New York ? I really love the flavor and the prices of the store. Also the variety and sizes are great. I would totally go back and buy more chocolates ?❤️??”
“This is by FAR one of if not the BEST Candy Shop in NYC and beyond. The creaminess and deliciousness of the milk chocolate is ridiculous! Pecan Turtles? Almond Turtles? Walnut/raisen Turtles? Jellybeans? You name it?...They got them all! And? If you want something extra special?.. You can order it! Go...you'll be happy!”
“Ray is an East Village celebrity. Originally from Iran, Ray jumped overboard a Navy ship to swim away to a new life in the United States. He started the shop in the 70s and has been around ever since. Even when Ray recently sustained an assault, he went right back to work. This institution offers various soft serve, fries, fried Oreos, hotdogs, chili dogs, egg creams, onion rings. Any number of fried foods one might eat after a drunken soirée. Someone commented on his Instagram page, “no one has seen me drunker than this man.” Most things are 7-10 dollars, though there are a few things that are more expensive, like 16 dollars or so. Pretty sure Ray is cash only. Ray still works the spot. He’s about to turn 91. If you want to see him, get on with it. New York changes all the time. One day you might show up, and Ray will be gone. Don’t miss your chance to experience this icon.”
“There is something adorable about a shop that specializes in incongruous antiques such as vintage smoking items, lighters, and ashtrays as well as vintage games and candy.Named after the owner's dog this little shop is mighty. You may not realize what you need from this shop but if not a Dunhill lighter perhaps the Mad Magazine board game? Perhaps just a snack of some vintage candy and a Bazooka gum-flavored soda. You won’t know until less you go. So just walk in, this shop doesn’t disappoint”
“I have been to a few of these stores but this one is the best that I have been in. It's a kids paradise!!! But for us older guys it's fun as well. It takes you down memory lane. There are candies that I haven't seen or had in 40 but years or more. It's two floors of fun.Let's not forget the great staff here. No business could be successful without a good staff and this store has one.”
