I am typically the most patient person and have worked in health care 18 years and sympathize with anyone who woks in the field including the pharmacy however I have to share my experience . I was in the hospital 1/14/2026 and I was given a medication same Day I got a text that said the rx is out of stock and I would be informed when it comes in. I called 4 times over the last week after waiting patiently 3 business days … I called the pharmacy and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone the automated system keeps throwing me to voicemail so I left one voice mail inquiring …keep in mind this prescription was given to me in the hospital
So it’s not like I can call and talk to the Dr. so I called and had to say I was a provider just to get to a pharmacist .. I am then told that the Rx the Dr wrote is not something they have ever seen and that they tried contacting the dr electronically to ask if there are other alternatives … so I told them did you try calling the dr when you saw you didn’t get a reply electronically in almost a week? She said no then I asked why I wasn’t called so I can try and call the ER or a provider … they said if you can call that would make it easier this was the Store Pharmacist telling me Maryann Ukhueduan. She then put me on hold for a while and I drove while on hold to the pharmacy. When I got there she was helping someone else on the phone the staff was clearly stressed out and mentioned they were understaffed … I said as calmly as I could I just need my meds it’s been almost 2 weeks I am severely anemic and there is going to be a snow storm. While there in the pharmacy I did something they could have done a week ago which was to call the Dr …I called the ER explained that we had an issue with the prescription prescribed and they said the pharmacy had to call and speak with a provider . Maryann called the ER and got on with a provider which could have been done a week ago and they figured out another prescription. I am sitting here now 30 minutes patiently waiting for my prescription. And half of the meds now also have to be ordered because they don’t have it so I won’t get half of them. This is just pour service and it’s the job of the pharmacist to contact the Dr or the patient and they didn’t … I had to do their job for them and advocate for my self to get at least half my meds. Last time I’ll be coming here .

I would give 0 stars if I could. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but the staff who were there today were extremely incompetent and unhelpful. Not to mention they lied. The manager on duty was terrible. I’ve genuinely never had a bad experience at a CVS until today. They need to retrain these staff members or let them go. Do yourself a favor and go to another CVS in the area before going to this one.

I want to thank MaryAnn, the pharmacist at CVS, for her amazing help on Oct 15, 2025. I’m from another state and it was only my second visit, but she was incredibly kind and helpful. My Latomex prescription wasn’t covered by insurance, and she guided me to download the manufacturer’s coupon, which reduced the cost by half.
MaryAnn’s patience, compassion, and professionalism truly stood out, she went above and beyond to help. Thank you for the exceptional care!

I have never been inclined to write a review about a pharmacy until I met the pharmacist Maryanne at this location. She is an angel. Maryanne glows with helpfulness and kindness every single time I see her, and she has that same compassion for every patient I see her interact with. Any time there has been an issue with my doctor refilling a prescription, Maryanne has gone out of her way to make calls, offer advice and reassure me. I am always so happy when I see her at the window or behind the counter. There are many CVS pharmacies, but there is only ONE Maryanne, and she is the reason you should come to this CVS.

I had such a wonderful experience at this CVS Pharmacy on Goldsborough Drive! The staff here is always kind and helpful, but I want to especially thank Jessica and Mariyane. I was paying a very high price for my glucose sensor, and they went above and beyond to help me. Thanks to their support and effort, they were able to lower my cost by nearly 30% less!
It’s rare to find staff who genuinely care about customers and take the time to make a difference, but Jessica and Mariyane truly did. I’m so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. This location has definitely earned my trust, and I’ll continue to come back. Highly recommend this CVS to everyone in Bayonne!

Customer service oriented, easy to navigate, and ideally suitable to meet our community's service needs in medication and merchandise.

This is the absolute WORST CVS pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Absolutely horrendous and DEPLORABLE customer service. I am ill with a contagious infection and they are refusing to transfer the prescription to a different CVS in Bayonne. Saying I have to go there and have them transfer it. So they’re going to force me to go in person and potentially get others sick while I wait. Their pharmacy closes at 7pm, extremely inconvenient for working class Americans.

Zero sense of honesty.
