Just left here to get some snacks. Literally everything is expired and stale. Bought some Chinese skittle lollipops earlier for around $7 and they expired in 2024. Bought some cookies; the cookies expired in January. I then returned for a refund only to find that everything in the store is expired, some going back to January 2024, and it is now June of 2025. When I asked the teller for a refund he threw the money on the counter, and I told him that was rude because I placed it in his hands when I paid. He responded by shrugging his shoulders. I get that it is a gas station, I’m not expecting gourmet fine dining, but at least some snacks that didn’t expire last year, and a teller who doesn’t mistreat me for not wanting to consume expired garbage would have been appreciated. Hell. Is the gas expired too?

I visit this Exxon gas station for work only, and my experience is a mixed bag. The owner/operator seems like a decent guy, friendly enough when you interact with him. However, it’s clear he’s stretched thin managing both the inside of the store and the pumps outside by himself. This leads to some awkward situations—more than once, I’ve seen him lock the store temporarily to handle something at the pumps, leaving customers waiting or unable to get inside. It’s not entirely his fault, as it seems like he’s doing his best, but it makes for a clunky experience.
The bigger issue for me is the pricing. Exxon’s gas prices here are consistently higher than other stations in the area, sometimes by a noticeable margin. It’s hard to justify filling up here when cheaper options are nearby. The station itself is clean enough, and the pumps work fine, but the high prices and the one-man-show operation make it less convenient than competitors. I’d probably only stop here in a pinch.

The highest priced place for gas in town. Save money and go elsewhere. Staff has tried ripping me off numerous occasions. Not sure how they are still making money at their prices.

I was there to buy stuff at the convenience store, quite expensive store. However, I think things are generally expensive in New Jersey compared to Canada where I live. Can’t believe gas prices are so high selling at $3.48. In general, it’s not a busy place at all, I could count how many cars that refill gas there.

Don’t go here to get gas if you have some place to be, because they will help everyone that walks into the store before they come out to pump the gas. I grew up in upstate NY, so I’ve been pumping gas since I was a kid, so I tried to pump it myself but it wouldn’t work. I went in and asked the guy why won’t the pump work for me to do it myself and all he said was, “ I don’t know”. He never even asked me ti give him a minute or anything, so guess what? I went and spent my $65 at a different fas station.

The driver of that Red F150 (H32JHF) is Ricky Pasquale , he lives on the Eastside of Bayonne.
He has been driving under the influence for years ,if not decades.

ExxonMobil you have to do better. This gas station in Bayonne nj on Ave E is charging $5.29 a gallon. This is the highest gas price I've seen at all your stations. I will NEVER purchase gas at this location again. The Jersey City location is $1.70 cheaper why? If travel 2 blocks over to Quick Check gas is currently $3.76 & BP is only $3.49 I find this to be very suspicious. I've already called ExxonMobil & files a complaint.

I read their justification for their high gas prices is to remain competitive however I’m not sure with who? It would also help if their service was at least decent. Avoid if you can.
