Firestone has always been my to go place in Bayonne. I find they are very helpful whenever I have car troubles.
Jayden was quite insightful during my visit on 3/16/25. He was very understanding and helped me. I even came back 3 hours later with the right part for my tires and my tire was fixed the same day.

I’d give no stars if I could. Negative stars. I had my car towed there for a flat. First the manager tries to convince me I drove on the flat. I did not , it couldn’t have been driven on anyway. He says “you drove on this”. I assured him I did not. He then called me back and stated “you know what , you’re right. I took a look at it myself and it wasn’t driven on”. He told me he might be able to patch it and I asked for an oil change. He did their song and dance about better oil , dirty filter … I let them do that & I went there and paid. When I was going to leave, in the lot , my brake pedal went to the FLOOR. No brakes.
I spoke to the same guy and asked what the hell happened . He got in the car to see and said “the car was like that when it arrived” it was not. Then , he began to get arrogant and cocky stating “miss … I’m not paying for your brakes!” He spoke to me like I was running a scam on THEM. Like I was trying to get some free work. I was cursing at being accused of such a thing and he had the audacity to point out my language. I stated we should call the police . I just wanted it documented. Then the nasty manager said “well take a look at it for no charge to see what is wrong”
I get a call , they were asking for over $2800 !!!! Full brake assembly. Rotors , pads , etc. I had it towed to the shop of a mechanic who used to own a towing company. He stated there is no way this damage was created by the tow. I’ve contacted Firestone corporate and filed a complaint. I’m also filing in small claims court. Was it worth it to try and milk me for more money Jonathan ? Because I’ll see you in court. The damage they did is $500. A lot of green between 2800 and 500. Firestone Bayonne are scam artists. They are robbing customers. We’re not done here.

Had an oil change done. I specifically asked if they checked all the fluids and I was told yes. I then said that the wiper fluid was empty and I was told that it would be filled as part of the oil change. Turns out the wiper fluid was NOT filled and was still empty when I checked it after I drove away. I had to go back to get it filled. I was left wondering what was actually done to my car and what didn't they fheck. I will NEVER go back there again.

I have been taking my car to Firestone in Bayonne for a few years. It's nice to see a familiar face often and not a revolving door. Good customer service.

The mechanic tried to smoke me for a new rack & pinion . Total 4000$ . I took my car to another mechanic and the problem was the power steering belt needed to be tightened. I will
Never go to Firestone again.

Very nice people here. I'm not a regular customer, but I needed a turn signal bulb replaced, and these people did it for me, even though that's not their regular work. And they were open on New Year's day! Great customer service!
