this is the worst moving company ever. It’s been past 3 months since my TV was broken during the move and my dresser was damaged. I have called numerous times and filed claims sent email after email and still nothing!!! It’s cheap for a reason. save your money and go with another company. this is such an inconvenience and so frustrating.

This company is an absolute joke! I wish that I could leave zero stars. The company showed up to the house a day early then charged us three times the amount that we were quoted because “the broker underestimated” us, but we didn’t have a choice but to pay these nasty thieves as our stuff was already on their truck. They “graciously” waved the extra fee for the TV, washer and dryer despite being on the estimate sheet. They almost dropped my husband’s motorcycle while attempting to load it on the truck. The two assistants don’t even speak English but the foreman was telling my husband and I how he had to go to prison for crossing the boarder but the two men he had with them had to stay in prison whereas he was released two days later. The manner of which this company treats its customers is absolutely disgusting. Do not ever use this company. My items are already a week late and there has been no explanation of why.

I cannot even give one star to this company. I strongly advise against working with this moving company.
On my moving day, G & M Moving and Storage Corp arrived to pack and load my belongings instead of Royal Palm Executive Interstate Movers. Royal Palm Moving had subcontracted G & M Moving and Storage Corp without informing me. The movers packed my items separately into more boxes, increasing the truck space and costs without consulting me. They used specialized, expensive boxes and charged me extra. I had no choice but to pay whatever they demanded on moving day, risking losing my $800 deposit if I canceled due to the high price. Unfortunately, finding another moving company at that time was not feasible.
After loading everything onto the truck, G & M Moving and Storage Corp asked for an additional $5000, far beyond the initial quote of $1588. Furthermore, they failed to deliver my belongings on time and showed little concern despite charging exorbitant fees and knowing the urgency of my items.
Why didn't they send someone to estimate the total price beforehand?
Why did they substitute another company without notifying me, especially since I had not contracted with G & M Moving and Storage Corp?
If their movers chose to pack my items separately to take more space and leading to increased costs, why wasn't this communicated clearly?
The lack of concern for customer problems is evident in their actions.

I also wrote a bad review from this company in BBB. Some of my belongings were not between my stuff. I called the company, but no one answered me!!
I DO NOT recommend this G & M Moving Corp to any one.
I wanted to bring to your attention that during my recent moving, two of my items were stolen: my Ninja blender and my chopping device, totaling $130.
I know who took them, and while the monetary value is significant, the emotional impact is even greater.
I hope that the individual who took these items realizes the emotional toll their actions have caused and experiences consequences that go beyond material loss.

Wish google would allow no stars. Especially a “company” like this one. Don’t really understand the logistics industry that well so we used a broker which was fine. This company picked up our furniture to be transported. After they got their money from me all forms of communication stopped. Save yourself the frustration do not use them!! Even if it was free!! Don’t!! I’m filing a complaint with BBB.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY (if they are even that) I have had the misfortune of dealing with.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS. They are literal criminals. They show up to move my stuff after being contracted by Everest Relocation (Even worse, don’t use them either) and DOUBLED the original price that was agreed. Since they conveniently showed up on the day I had ti move out, I had no choice but to pay the thieves.Then they took 3 weeks to deliver my stuff after initially saying it was gonna take a week max. Then they charged me an extra $500 for transferring my stuff into a smaller truck when it was the exact same truck that showed up to deliver my stuff. They then charged another $300 because of the number of ‘steps’ to get to my floor. At this point, I was just lucky to even see my stuff upon reading the reviews here.They only accepted money orders, cash or zelle which screams fraud and tax evasion. They stole two of my boxes with an expensive drone inside and one of the movers named Fernando stole an expensive bottle of cologne from my bathroom after I let him use it to wash his hands.PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD… DO NOT USE THIS PEOPLE.If i could give them a zero star, I would. STAY AWAY

They bait and switch to my contract, told me things that I agreed to with the booking agent and then did not honor the things that were contractually obligated. They also disconnect the phone numbers after each move, so make sure you get everything in writing and record all phone calls.

I am only giving this a one star because I can't give it no stars. DO NOT use this moving company. From start to finish, they were horrible. They quoted me what I thought was a decent price, then proceeded to show up three days late (coincidentally on the day I HAD to be out of my home) and proceeded to charge me double what they quoted me. I had no other choice than to pay because I had to be out of the house. The lady in the dispatch office was incredibly rude. She hung up on me twice. They tried to charge me an additional $600 because at the last minute they decided the storage facility I had chosen would not fit the moving truck and they wanted me to pay for a shuddle truck to bring my things into the storage facility. I found another facility to accommodate their truck. Upon arrival, the majority of my items were damaged. I tried three times to file a claim on their claims website. On my third attempt I spent 6 hours getting every last detail squared away on the claim only to push the submit button and have everything disappear. Here I am 9 months later, finally getting my things into my own place and out of storage only to realize I am missing two of my boxes. One of which had all my daughter's handmade baby blankets that are irreplaceable. I absolutely would never recommend this company to anyone. I had to throw away my livingroom chairs, a paddleboard, nightstands, cups, plates, picture frames. There was water damage to my daughter's brand new bed frame that I had bout a few weeks before the move. When the movers opened the truck to remove my items from it, it looked like they literally just tossed everyone's belongings into the truck without any care or organization. I wouldn't be surprised if several other people had the same issues as I did. Bottom line, find a better company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Please do NOT use this company. A broker called Beyond Van Lines also uses them for "smaller" jobs to fill the truck for cross country jobs. Bait & Switch on the contract. Charging for "the amount of steps" from the truck to an apartment, only one mover which takes a longer period of time & of course, even more money. The rude & unprofessional "person" who answers the phone in no way should be working with the public. She literally will hang up on you if you bother her with any questions or try to pinpoint your delivery time. In short...wish I could give this experience 0 stars. Don't walk...run from this company. Another BBB complaint coming.

Overall they were pretty good. We used G & M to move our furniture and boxed items from our house to storage, store the items for about 6 months, and then deliver everything to a new location about 1500 miles away.We were given 1-2 day windows for both pickup and delivery. Exact dates would have been nice, but it turned out okay.I felt like everything was an extra charge. Our pickup location had stairs, which added an unexpected several hundred dollars to the pickup cost. Also, we were charged for 2100 cubic feet of storage when the moving truck that picked up our items could not have possibly held more than 1900 cubic feet.Everything had to be done through cash, money order, or Zelle, which seemed sketchy. One of my monthly payments for storage was refused by my bank because their Zelle account was locked due to fraud. This did not inspire confidence that our household items were going to be okay.They didn't seem to pay any attention to items we marked as fragile or top load. We saw items marked fragile or top load at the bottom of stacks of boxes and partially crushed when they delivered the items. Lucky for us we only had one minor dent on a piece of furniture and no broken items.

Please don't ever use this company very poor customer service. How do you pick up someone's personal belongings and quote them a price then up the price. Once they delivered the furniture then they make and excuse that they can't get down the street, so they charge you and extra $400. even though they made it down the street. On top of that the charge you $75. for every 100 steps that they have to take to the furniture off the track and into the apartment. This company is absolutely horrible. I will be sending a letter to the Senator, Local Government of New Jersey because this business needs to have their license revoked. With the economy as bad as it is this company is taking advantage of people and especially our first responders who is working very hard to save livers. If there is any help anyone can provide to get this company's license revoked so that they are not allowed to keep taking advantage of people PLEASE, PLEASE HELP.
