“a very clean tea shop that seems to favor a modern aesthetic. sells a variety of teaware and teas sourced primarily from china, japan, and korea.
it’s definitely on the higher end price-wise. the staff also seems to be fairly hands-off and only approach you to help if you have questions, which is suitable for people who prefer to be left alone while shopping.
i do wish there were samples of the tea to at least smell them, but i can also understand that may not be suitable for teas this high-quality. they have some nice gift options as well.”

I spoke with the Pharmacist after just to confirm how I should be taking the supplements and how often etc. he was amazing. I felt so comfortable, he answered all my questions and more. It feels good to have an in person interaction and buy things on hand. I get anxiety these days scrolling through amazon reviews and not sure if I'm purchasing the right thing, when it will come, etc. etc. This is now my go to store!”

I had such a great experience at GNC ! The customer service was amazing from staff member BK she was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. She took the time to explain products and make sure I left with the right supplements for my goals. It’s rare to find such genuine care and professionalism these days, and I really appreciated it. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others!”
“I’ve been a member here for 10 years, with a few years off when I lived outside the city. It’s an incredible gift to have access to such high-quality food at such low prices. It’s gotten me through many broke periods. It’s also the best grocery store in the city that I’ve been to.
People complain that you must be a member and work in order to shop, but the work requirement (free labor) is how we keep prices so low. Further, the coop is already packed to literal capacity, there’s a wait to become a member and sometimes a line to get in the door. There’s no space for non members to shop or look around. (People always imagine themselves as a single non-member shopper — they don’t imagine the implications of their desired policy that would extend to the entire public.)
People also have negative stereotypes about coop members, but I haven’t experienced anything different here than elsewhere in Brooklyn. Sure, some people are annoyingly intense, but it’s the same as if you went to a community board meeting. 98% of the people are chill and just want to save money on groceries.”

“Great place for herbal apothecary, flower extracts, tea blends, tobacco alternatives and much more. The shop is small but the selection is large, the girls working there were nice and welcoming and the vibe was great :) I like to take my time and look around and felt no judgement about taking my time (which I always appreciate), would def recommend to anyone who like that kind of stuff, and even if you don’t and are just interested to check it out, try it! Maybe you’ll be surprised :)”

Need a quick place to eat a bite before a show? Great seating area upstairs/escalator. Deli is great. Pizza by slice. Or whole pizza. Great salads. We had chicken (little dry but good temperature) cooked green beans. Great flavor. Steamed broccoli. Great. And a large liter sparkling water All this for $10. Amazing. Also had Ckn and artichoke piece of pizza. Delicious. Could have been a little hotter. Piece of pizza is like $3.95.
Close to all the theatres. We also bought flowers and a card for a friend who is starring in Alicia Keys Hell’s Kitchen production. Great price compared to CVS down the block.”

Its clear there are limited resources for the clientele and anything the establishment can do to offer lower prices will keep folks coming back more consistently. They could benefit from a loyalty program of some sort. But either way this is an important and valuable staple to the neighborhood”
