James is amazing and deserves more than 5 stars. He did my hair and makeup for an event and it was exactly what I wanted. He definitely knows how to make someone feel like a princess. He listens and makes sure you feel amazing and comfortable! His makeup is great for sensitive skin and was able to give me a natural look. If you haven’t stopped in House of Eli yet you don’t know what you are missing. This store and his services are well worth the money. I can’t wait to go back. 💕

The House of Eli boutique was more than just a boutique; it was an experience for my family to see the pieces of our daughter’s sweet 16 come to life. James beautifully transformed my daughter's sweet 16 dress and makeup. He created something that made a Disney princess reconsider her tailor. His creativity truly connected the winter wonderland theme with its realization. Thank you, James, for your dedication and vision in crafting this memorable occasion for my family and me—much respect.

I ordered their shampoo and conditioner about 6 weeks ago. I started using it right away. The packaging it was shipped in was beautiful. Since switching, I’ve done about 6 washes (every 4-5 days). With each wash I’ve noticed lessening hair loss, less frizz, more volume, a healthier scalp and it is growing faster than ever before. I cannot say enough good things about it or the business owner! Fabulous products, great customer service, and a true passion to help others!

Hands down the best one stop shop!Liajor Skin! Where do we start?! I never understood when others said “Marivel doesn’t just provide a service or a facial, she provides an EXPERIENCE” …until I booked my first facial. I was so in love with her work, I bought a package on the spot. Not only does she teach you about the current state of your skin, she’ll teach you what it takes to get to where you need to be. It was a no brainer to buy the Keravive package so she could get her hands on my scalp health! This is not your typical white wall, cold esthetician office -She works hard to create an environment that truly feels like a serene sanctuary where you can close out the outside world for a few hours & be stress free and at peace. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen asleep during treatments. She is so passionate about her work and truly cares about YOU and your skin, and how you feel. I am in awe everytime I have a session with Marivel and never have to question if I’m in good hands or being sold.As if Marivel isn’t more than you could ask for…guess what? There’s more! Jamez at House of Eli is amazing in all things glam! I rarely ever let anyone touch my hair since I have very curly hair and I’ve gone through some changes. I was in desperate need of a trim, and I felt so many good vibes from Jamez and seen his work, I let him work without policing, and he gave me the most fabulous haircut!I’m new to Bayonne from New York and used to drive back to Brooklyn and the city for all my services. Not anymore, so grateful to have found this neighborhood gem at House of Eli!

I would like to give Eli a special shout out. He made my birthday into a whole experience. I had an appointment to get my makeup done and ended up getting my hair done as well. Eli has a special talent not only is he talented in his career but he has a spirit unlike anyone I have ever met make sure to tell all your friends and family about this place, can’t wait to come and get this hair and makeup done again thank you so much I give you a 10 out of 10!!!!!

Fabulous store. The perfume that the store owner makes himself, is amazing. Stays on all day. Really unique pretty clothes and jewelry. I haven’t tried the hydro facial service yet, but I plan on it.

House of Eli is a fabulous one stop boutique! The owner, Jamez, is the best! He truly cares about his clients and takes pride in his craft. I have gotten my makeup and hair done by him several times and each time, I have loved the results! He truly makes you look and feel beautiful. He is very talented and accommodating. I am excited to try his fashion styling services too, in the near future. I have recommended him to all of my girlfriends and my husband even gotten his hair styled by him before.
