Dear fellow consumers:
Do you value your time and your money? I assume you do, so I'll be brief:
I stopped by to have one flat tire swapped out. I was given an estimate time of 1 hour.
Three hours later, I was informed that I need rear tires that they don't even have in stock. Total cost to swap three tires $500+.
So, I am sitting here expecting to wait an additional two hours for the tires to be delivered by a wholesale supplier and out not just $500+ but time that I'll never get back.
My advice, purchase tires from Amazon, go to a local tire shop and support people who actually care about your time and money!

I want to give a shout-out to the manager Chris over there. I had a problem with a tire, and without going into detail, I do have to say he went above and beyond to make sure I was good. Most people only do the bare minimum in life and he did more than that. I always have a great experience with this company when things are going good, but the responses and actions of people when things are going bad is what's important. Thank you again Chris. We need more manager like you in the world!

Staten Island native & I will still cross the Bayonne bridge just to go to this specific location! Purchased a full set of tires a little over a year ago and recently returned to this same location for a rotation & balance.
Chris was super helpful over the phone prior to arriving at this location. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Chris and the phone conversation easily continued in person. Chris was very informative and I appreciated his thoroughness prior to one of the technicians working on the car.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Richard was beyond exceptional!!! He was updating me throughout the entire service, discussing what was good/what was bad with the current status of my vehicle. Richard thoroughly explained what the technical process was and how to understand the balancing readings. No better service than when you receive service + a genuine lesson and learning! Thank you, Richard!
Both Richard and Chris were very transparent and honest, which is all anyone wants when dealing with technical services that they themselves aren’t capable of doing on their own. Leave it to the professionals!

Disappointing Service at Mavis Discount Tire
I recently visited Mavis Discount Tire due to a flat tire and offensive, leaving me feeling disrespected.
Furthermore, another receptionist seemed equally disinterested, spending most of their time on personal calls and providing minimal assistance.
It's clear that Mavis Discount Tire needs to prioritize customer service and hire staff who are both competent and courteous. Additionally, enforcing a dress code that prohibits inappropriate attire, such as caps often associated with smoking, would improve the overall atmosphere.
I'm also attaching an attire of the receptionist who is on duty. Please have a look and think is it a good gesture or not.

Extremely disrespectful people are working there. I just wanted to ask price for oil change and the women whose name was Khalifa did not even answer and told me to wait. I waited almost 30 minutes to get an answer from her. She was on the phone pretending like she was doing some work but laughing like hahhaha hiii hiiih and having private conversations while i was standing there for 30 minutes! Then she finished her call and still did not ask how can she help ! She just went out started smoking called someone again laughing loudly again and finally entered the store and asked me how she can help!! And i said ‘thanks, i do not need your help and will report you to the company’ you know what she said? She said ‘she was working to her manager, it was for work, i do not care! You want my name? Report me’ !!!! then called her so-called manager and said ‘there is a man here saying that he will report me, i do not care ‘ and started to laugh again. Then another guy came whose name was Peter and he did not even look at me and he helped another lady came to shop after me. Terrible customer service! Terrible attitude! Disrespectful and unprofessional! Next time hire educated, polite and respectful people please!

I recently went to Mavis Tires late in the day, and although they couldn’t take me that day, Khadija went above and beyond to assist me. She was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had all the information I needed and scheduling me for the soonest possible appointment. Her excellent customer service really stood out, and I left feeling confident that I was in good hands. Thank you, Khadija, for making the experience great despite the time constraints!
