This store is for the birds. You can get comparable quality, selection and better service at a number of furniture outfitters in the tri state area. Value of any kind is the last thing this company should represent. The standard of management and business practice is antiquated and never in the best interest of the customer or staff. Read the fine print.

Great atmosphere, young lady who helped me was super helpful and very informative. Helped me pick the perfect mattress, exactly what I was looking for. Didn't have to wait long to be seen, as soon as I walked in I was greeted a d helped very quickly.

Salespeople were nice and very helpful, delivery and service were good, but I found the quality of the furniture to be fair to poor. Bought a bed, dresser and mattress. Saw some defects on the headboard. They sent a repairman who was very nice and did a decent job, but it did not fix the problem well enough. They gave me no problem at all replacing the headboard. It’s better than the original but still poor quality. By the way the brand of the bed is Ashley Furniture.

Malisha greeted us with a warm feeling she was very open to our concerns about what we wanted in a sofa. She was very helpful with showing me and my wife different styles of furniture that would probably suit us. And she did not push us in to picking out the first one we seen . She said be at home and sit down and be comfortable like you would be at home. Then she became more like one of my friends instead of a sales women. And made me feel more comfortable. We solicited recommendations from friends regarding local furniture stores in the shore area. Based on the results, we visited the Value City Furniture showroom in Manahawkin, NJ and purchased a 3-piece wall unit for our home. We specifically questioned the salesman as to the quality and their pre-delivery inspection process. We were assured of the excellent quality of the furniture, and that their inspection process would result in our being a very happy customer. As their contracted delivery vendor began to unpackage and bring in the component pieces, we started to examine them. We were shocked and dismayed to see very large, noticeable surface irregularities, including large crack and chips, as well as very poor application of manufactured stress marks. Basically, the units were overly distressed. In addition, many of the butt and corner joints were gapped and/or noncontinuous. The delivery vendor explained that if we were unhappy with the units, VCF would send out an examiner to see what could be done to make repairs. Rather than get into a lengthy, drawn-out rework / repair process, we called VCF to discuss the issue, then elected to refuse delivery because of the overall poor quality of the unit. The salesman was somewhat understanding but appeared to not be concerned over the large surface marks, which were so noticeable and detracted from the furniture. We would have been embarrassed to have the wall unit in our home, especially what we paid for it.

The sales rep was super friendly and a great help. She didn't try to sell me something. She approached and asked if I needed help when I said I was just looking she walked away and waited until I had questions. She was informative and very helpful. I had a great experience.
