Great Polish food. I highly recommend the potato pancakes. They taste just like my Polish Grandma used to make. The stuffed cabbage and beef barley soup are really good too.

I'm not Polish, so I don't have a lot to go by, but my girlfriend is, and she says that the homemade food here is just like her Babcia made. The food is wonderful.

Great Polish deli with lots of selection - kielbasa, sauerkraut, fresh perogies, breads, Polish grocery items etc. Worth the trip from JC

Let me start with the fact that I am a semi-regular here - maybe I do not go weekly but the owner does know my face as a repeat customer. I have always enjoyed the products, but no matter how nice I am, the main women who is always there (middle age blonde, assume its the owner) is never pleasant, and todays visit made it my last. First, she was on the phone, unmasked for the longest time, what seemed like a personal call. I waited and waited for her to finally go behind the counter and to put on her mask. Then she literally COUGHED on the food I was ordering as she placed it into the Styrofoam container! Next, when I was told the total, I was 2 cents short and asked that since I came here a lot if she could spot me the 2 coins - you know, I always leave but never take a penny from the dish - she stared at me like she didn't understand, which meant no. I said I didn't want to break a $20 bill for TWO PENNIES. She acted d**** I shook my head in shock and said I know you understand English, and that I am never going to patronize your business again. Lastly, the quality of her food has gone downhill - the pirogies in the cooler door look like they have been sitting there for ages (all hard and shriveled and discolored). I will give my business to Alex & Terry across the street, or Sawa on Avenue C. BTW, I threw out the food when I got home - no need to risk getting sick for any reason - but in hindsight, I should just have refused to pay and walked out, but I try to be reasonable with difficult people in these trying times. I don't know what it is with these small mom/pop shops, but if you are not Polish, they treat you like some alien from another country. You need to go back to biz school 101 on how to treat your customers, because I predict you will not stay open much longer.

I was craving chicken noodle soup and stopped in after visiting Judicke's. The chicken noodle soup was clearly freshly made (since the container was warm) and I nabbed that and the chicken barley. Both were great and full of flavor and I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in Bayonne to stock up!

I have never, EVER, had a bad experience at this deli. Everything is as fresh as can be and absolutely delicious. Whoever said the cold cuts were dry or the food was not fresh probably owns a competing deli. Please don't listen to these idiots. Experience Warsaw for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
