Brooks and John were really great! John thoroughly looked over my son's car and we were told what needed to be replaced or kept an eye on. In no way we're either of them pushy or tried to get us to agree to do any work on the spot or schedule anything. Both were really professional and pleasant! Don't hesitate to use them!

Terrible service. I had an appointment set up to have 2 tires swapped out. I waited 3 and half hours outside and the tires still weren't done. Their excuse was "they thought I was dropping them off and picking them up later." Why on earth would I have called 3 days prior and set up an appointment then? I definitely won't be going back.

I had a flat tire , I took it to Mavis and Brooks was awesome! He didn’t have to take me cause they were pretty booked but he did, and got me back on the road. I am so so grateful and very much appreciative! He is also very well mannered. Thank you Mavis!

The service writer Brooks is great! He’s very knowledgeable and was willing to work with me on the prices. I also got brakes and tires there about a year ago and everything was nice and smooth. I appreciate a place like Mavis in Bayville!

First time I went, they were great & fast. The next time I went, I dropped off my car in morning to get oil change, tire rotation & top off fluids & said needed back in afternoon. I call half hour before close & I was told they were down mechanics & couldn’t get to it. I picked up car & understood things happen. Then I wait a couple weeks & go back. Drop the car off in the morning, said need back in afternoon, oil change, tire rotation & top of fluids. Waiting waiting waiting, I call again half hour before close & they’re like 2 mechanics went home sick so couldn’t get to it. Now I’m screwed because I need this done & it’s a fleet vehicle so only so many places I can go for fleet. So I say keep it there, but can you get to it in morning cause I need back, reiterating again the services I need, oil change, tire rotation & fluids topped off. They said no problem, we will get to it first thing in morning. I get a call around 2:20pm your car is ready. I go to pick up, get receipt, they said sorry again for the issues & I leave. I’m driving home, washer fluid low signal pops up on dashboard. I’m like are you friggin kidding me. I checked the receipt, yes I know I should have checked before leaving, but I was frustrated & needed to leave. It shows just oil change, no tire rotation & no top off of fluids. I just don’t understand what goes on & how there are so many great reviews. Needless to say, I’m on to a different service center for the next time I need services.

After being turned away by 2 locations cause it was too close to closing Brooks took in my Jeep quickly had great communication on the issue and John repaired it right away. Definitely 5 stars for friendliness and speed of service will definitely be my go to tire center

Brooks took wonderful care of me. Brooks, Carl and the team were efficient and caring. They took me in last minute, the day of service and made sure to take great care and service with my vehicle. I even had to come later than I said I would be there and they were extremely kind and accommodating. The car is noticeably running better. Thank you guys so much.

Mavis is great they put super amount of weights on your tires . I'm guessing it help not skid out in rain and extra traction for the snow . They also take 10$ off your bill if leave a 5 star review . Ty I love my mavis hankooks

Staff was extremely friendly & helpful with any questions I had. Got 4 new tires put on my truck, they were able to fit me in for an appointment right away & didn’t take long for them to put them on.Brooks, Mike & Carl were who helped me, and they were great! Thanks guys!!

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Tire rotation was included in the oil change quote of $39.48. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment set one week in advance. It took 2.5 hours from the time I walked in to the time I walked out for an oil change and tire rotation. The final charge was $63.68. They charged me extra for the oil filter ($4.50) and labor ($14.00). I am 50 years old and have never had the filter and labor added to an oil change. This is always included in the oil change cost. Just tell me upfront the oil change is $60.00. The phone quote of $39.48 is how they get you in the door. The "out the door" charge is 50% higher than quoted. I should only give this one star, but the second star is because they finally figured out how to reset my oil service message on my dashboard.

I would highly recommend Mavis if you need any work done . They got me right in for an oil change and the mechanics plugged a hole in my tire that has been needing to be done but I forgot about . Everyone was super friendly and easy to work with and in a very timely manner . Safe to say I will definitely be coming back for future work done .

Told they could help me with my brakes.....then I drop it off and walk home to a phone call no we can't do it today we don't have the right tools the master mechanic will be here tomorrow....we will call you in the am. 1pm the next day we can't find the parts......walk to pickup kept my thoughts to myself as he tells me he called around for them ...liar the Tom's river had them in stock! I know because I bought them today for $400!!! I'll be changing myself so I don't lose my job tomorrow and going in on no sleep thanks so much Mavis for the added mayhem!!!3 days of dealing with the runaround and then 900 quote for two control arms insatalled and i called the # nice to call me back ....NOT awesome!

I needed 2 tires and decided to give Mavis a try considering they were around the corner - NEVER AGAIN. I made a 9am appointment and dropped my car off at 8am before they even opened. I put my keys in the drop box in an envelop along with my info. I didn't hear fro them until 11:44am when the Perla, the front desk lady was calling to try and sell me an additional 2 tires. When I told her no thanks I just wanted the ones I purchased online and reminded her I had an appointment she said "oh well the envelop was ripped so we couldn't make out your number and its been a busy morning and you wrote Steph but the orders under Stephanie." I knew the envelop was not ripped because I saw it on the floor before I walked away and it was fine, just a little crushed from their crappy slot in the door. she assured me my car was next up to have the tires replaced and I told her no problem I live close by so it was ok. By 3:59pm when I never heard from anyone I called and asked how things were going. Perla said they had not gotten to the car yet but they were going to put it up next and again mentioned it was a busy morning. I mentioned that I had a 9am appointment and it was 4pm and my car still wasn't even worked on. I was quickly informed that apparently "this isn't a doctors appointment a 9am appointment is a 9am RESERVATION and "if 30 cars come in at 8 am they work on those 30 cars before the 9 am reservation". Which I understood however it Was a Sunday which meant they opened at 9am and in fact I dropped my frigging car off at 8am so I should have been the first car they did work on, hence the "reservation". But I still was nice and said ok fine. At 5:09pm I received a call from Perla who was a bit snippy asking if I planned on picking up my car today - I said um is it ready ? She said yes I called you and have been waiting. So not to keep her waiting I said I'd pay over the phone and said leave the Keys in the car. Meanwhile my phone never rang - as she tried to figure out how to ring me up for 5 minutes, I searched my calls and nothing. When she came back I said I'm Perla i have no miss calls from you guys so you never called to tell me it was ready. She then proceeded to tell me how they have been having trouble with their phone lines and getting busy signals. So which one is it you called or your phones don't work? Don't lie to me. Well I just picked up my car and the pressure sensor on one of the new tires doesn't work! Never again Mavis - you guys were awful- $510 of nothing but aggravation and an incomplete job! poor customer service for $510

Very pleased with Mavis. Ordered tires online and made an appointment to have them installed. Brought my vehicle in three days later. Checked in by Victoria. Tires were installed. They did not try to sell me anything else. Worked with Victoria on a couple billing issues; website took two deposits and I needed assistance with a rebate. Although she looked extremely busy, Victoria took the time to assist me which I greatly appreciated. I can get tires anywhere. It is the service that makes me a repeat customer.
