This is a charming library in its original small old building. It has lots of nooks and crannies with books to peruse and an upstairs balcony reached via an old time wooden circular staircase. Upstairs also is a fascinating one room museum with old Beach Haven images, documents and artifacts. Fun to just visit or...take out a book or two!

Beach Haven Public Library is a quaint little library with all the resources of a good library, and seems to possess abundant historical roots as well. It is a library I would definitely recommend, especially when quarantine is over.

Well, if you ever want/need a little historic beach library where there is a soothing winter fire in the walk in fireplace, or a 2nd floor that wraps around the perimeter of the first floor, with a very good book selection and even better librarians who are lifetime islanders, GO HERE.

The beach haven library is such a nice place to go. The staff is great and always very helpful. I have been going for years and they are able to order books upon request. I watch public broadcasting service and they have provided me with the books.
I appreciate the service.

The people there are always friendly and willing to help. Also, the design of the building is very cool.

I recently recommended an interesting Osprey program and hope that if anyone missed it they know it will be offered again in August. Also, I and friend plan to visit the museum.

This public library feels like a private home - and it is in what could be a private home. The living room has a fire place, daily newspapers, a public computer station, and a large table with several benches for meetings. There is a large children's section with toys and several oversized stuffed animals (see photos). Upstairs are two more public computer stations. People meet here and talk about books, beach, and life. Perfect place for a rainy day - and a refuge from the beach.
