Really funny, there’s this one bartender who gets mad if you don’t tip him for cracking a beer. He even tells the other bartenders not to serve you! Great place if this child isn’t working : )

Went there for dinner when we were in LBI last week. Servers were friendly and helpful. Had Mahi sandwich which was great!

Back in January I planned my sisters bachelorette party at the @Sea Shell Resport and Beach Club with Brittany's help. 2 Rooms were requested and booked through an external link. Confirmation letters were never received untill management was contacted. A confirmation letter was then received but with the wrong dates. When confronted about this mistake this resort told me they were not responsible for any mistakes made on their confirmation letter. I was eligible for their particular refund of about $200.00 but would be responsible for paying the remaining $1500.00. This of course was requested to be refunded due to their reservation making abilities- when the sea shell resort responded that we were taking food from their families mouths. Long story short I would NOT recommend booking any stays with this resort or participating in ANY business with them for that matter.To clarify the stay was not changed to the correct dates. The 4 day stay never occurred. The amount of $1590.00 was not dropped.. and Spray Beach Hotel saved the day

Have been staying here for years since before kids. Love this place and the beach/tiki/pool area. Took the family there for drinks and live music after our dinner and it was such a lovely night. There's access to the beach, I like that they have mats leading to the beach it makes walking and rolling carts so much easier. One of my favorite places in lbi

Obsessed with this place! Such a fun atmosphere with love music, a pool and entry to the beach. The food is 10/10, came here on my bachelorette and it was the highlight of my weekend. You absolutely need to come here if you're in LBI!

We love going to the Tiki bar to just chill and have a drink and a lunch. Love the flavor of the fish in the fish and chips. Def the best tasting on LBI. The portions are not too big, but what it lacks for in size it makes up for in taste. Friendly staff and attentive bartenders. Great place to meet up with friends. The decor and ambiance is very much a relaxing vacation vibe.

We used to go to the Shell more often years ago for Thunder Thursdays and always had a great time! We went back for the first time in years the other day and it has changed a lot since we last went. They have tons of tables in the sand to sit and drink at. They also have an additional mini stage area for bands, which is nice! We happened to be there on the bikini show night and it was pretty crowded, however there was lots of standing and seating. They also had a mechanical surf board to ride, which is a fun addition! Getting drinks was fast and efficient as well. We will definitely put this on our going out list more often!

Service was great. Beer menu was entirely canned which is why I only gave Sea Shell 4 stars. My grilled salmon sandwich was perfectly cooked- but farm raised. French fries were crisp and tasty. The star was my friend's Korean pork Belly which was delicious, great sauce with hints of sesame and scallions. Atmosphere was good and when the live music started by the pool, the waiter responded kindly to our request to turn the other music down.

Such a fun place for groups! Bar service was quick despite the large number of people. Great place to go on the weekend or holiday - live music the Sunday of MDW.

BEACH HAVEN/LBI: Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club is a dog friendly hotel with an unbelievable oceanfront tiki bar/patio with a great food menu! All the palm trees and beautiful design is the finest we've seen in NJ and makes you feel like you're on a tropical vacation. There is even a TV outside to watch the game! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed outside at the dining area Monday-Friday day and night with the exception of Thursday. Your pup can stay at the hotel in the off-season (no limit on size!!). I have gone to LBI every year with my family for the past 10 years. We always visit this place. Delicious tropical drinks! The tiki bar is also very cool! It's right on the beach it feels like your on a tropical island.

Stopped by for a relaxed outdoor lunch - another excellent experience. We have lived our summers on the island for over 27 years - rented for many years before that. The Sea Shell continues to improve with age and offers a varied menu for all customers. Their bar has standard and specialty choices that are consistently good. The appetizer and lunch menu is varied, (we prefer seafood options on the island), and the fish are always fresh. There were multiple visits this summer, just got around to the review. Kudos to our server, Matt, always observant and there with recommendations and fresh drinks. Worth a stop if you haven't been there yet. (PS: check out the live music schedule - great bands!)
