DON’T COME HERE THINKING YOU WON’T GET SCAMMED OR OVERCHARGED.
I had an emergency when my engine blew up on the highway and had to stop here. A friend used to come to this shop for oil changes, so I thought it’d be safe to ask them for something simple: just read my OBD code so I could add it to the paperwork for the car I had just purchased.
At any AutoZone—or even most decent mechanics—you can get this done for free. Instead, this guy asked me for $25 just to read a code. To put it in perspective, I would’ve been fine if he said $10–15, and I even planned to tip him another $10. But his attitude made it clear: this place isn’t about helping people, it’s about squeezing them when they’re stuck.
Bottom line: go somewhere else. If a shop charges you more than any shop for a simple plug-in check, especially in an emergency, they don’t deserve your business. Also have fun with your couple thousands dollar machine that can’t read codes for free. I got it done for free next shop

Jack and his wife could not have been nicer and they saved the day with an emergency tire replacement when the dealership couldn't help me. I was traveling from out of town and very grateful for all they did to get me back on the road safely!

Pleasant owner/mechanic Jack. Booking appointment is smooth. Gave me a call and information first for the fair pricing of what is needed, unlike other auto shops that would rip you off to get some $, jack tried to save what could be saved. Highly recommended. I booked an appt online for state vehicle inspection and showed up the same day at 5 apparently before the appointment was officially accepted/confirmed. Jack was not aware of the appointment, therefore he would have been closing at 5. He was so nice to stay and did the inspection for me anyway. Jack was very friendly, efficient and even popped a wheel cover on quickly for me. I will certainly consider him for future auto maintenance needs since I live and work locally. Jack was great. He recommended a tow service that brought my truck into his shop. He diagnosed and fixed the problem. He went above and beyond to help me get the right parts at the best price and he stands behind his work. He drove out to me a few days later to help with a different issue when I broke down.
