The bank very quietly added a fifty dollar fee to a free business account and apparently only notified by mail. Nothing in the portal, nothing over email, nothing in the fee schedule. This bank has cost me $400 for no reason.

Timothy and Tom in the customer service chat responded to questions on multiple occasions in minutes of me asking them. It's 2022, everyone's online now. Having a quick response time like that is crucial.

Small redhead teller always has an attitude problem. You can see the fake smile she brings and doesn’t give good customer service. Each time I go she’s always has a smart comment, and even seen her give bad attitude to other clients through the drive up. A friend of mine who is also goes to this branch often always has a problem with her too. We never have a problem with other tellers. The manager should do make sure this teller fixes her problem.

Teller's sit around doing nothing, but won't help. Lazy. Don't want to give a variety of bills back

The pleasant little bank that "could" has become the annoying little bank that "can't do anything." It can say "that's our policy." It can attach extra charges. And it does have a useless fraud alert service that is impossible to contact or cancel and very ineffective customer service.

Needed a new debit card. Called ahead 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE, not ready. Tried to place a new PIN, machine wouldn't work. Have to disagree with the 3 star reviewer Mike : it's NOT a bank...

Absolutely terrible - if you have this bank as your bank, leave now. Almost 8 months ago, I sent a formal letter to their headquarters in Bedminster, NJ requesting that statements get sent to my new address (out of state). When I never received statements at the new address, I called and was told that not everyone gets statements and that I was probably enrolled in online statements. I was NOT. Turns out, statements were being sent to my old address, and therefore I never received them - nor did I receive the notice that the bank would start charging $10 a month to my checking account as a service fee (which is already an absurd few - $120 annually just to have a checking account?). When I returned to NJ, I went to a branch and asked them to reverse the fees that I had accumulated. They apologized to me for never updating my address or properly noticing me of the change in fees, but said that it's not their policy to reverse fees. I closed my account immediately and will never, ever use them again. In fact, I am advising family, friends, and the general public to stay away from this absolute scam of a bank. They are more concerned with profit than honesty, integrity, or customer service. They essentially robbed me, and now I sincerely doubt that them "forgetting to update my address" was accidental.

Gosh I love this place! It's free biotch! FREE! I said! Free checking FREE savings FREE FREE FREE! The staff is the best AND they don't seem to have a huge turn-over - SO the person who took your money and deposited it last week? She's still there the following week AND she REMEMBERS YOU! Actually, no matter which branch you go to (Summit, Morristown, Far Hills, Bernardsville) They ALL remember you ;) No one pushes you to open anything. As a matter of fact, they give stuff away. Daily pastries & delish coffee :) I've had accounts here for over 10 years and only strayed once out of convenience (Chase) What a nightmare. Never again!

Was charged a $34 over draft fee for a $15.00 check and again another $34 fee for an $18.00 check from my overdrawn checking account....yes.....but in the old days they put loan sharks in jail for usury. Today it's called typical banking practices.
