“Always a good experience here… I’ve had two very emotional euthanasias at this office and they couldn’t have been more professional. Was at the office yesterday with my loving but obnoxiously strong dog for a boo boo and Dr Drozd was thorough and to the point. And understood my old pups needs. I’m still lol over “he’s strong for an old fart” bc he is! Less than 24 hours later my strong maniac is showing off his boo boo to me and how much better it is already. It’s got to be tough dealing with animals who are scared and try to defend themselves out of instinct when being restrained for treatment and they do it fabulously. Big thank you from us and Rome”

“We’ve been taking our dogs to LSAH for years now, ever since my first dog Rosie was a puppy 14 years ago, and Rosie is still going strong. We’ve always had good experiences with LS, but especially loved Dr Y, and now we see Dr Regan, Dr Stacy, and Dr Scott and they are all amazing. We recently saw Dr Haupt and she was great too.

I’m only clicking the “overpriced” button despite being happy with their vet services bc all vets are overpriced these days and the prices for a regular exam HAVE gone up at LS considerably. That said, I believe in most cases, you get what you pay for, and I feel that my dogs have gotten excellent care from LSAH.”

They even took my calls over the weekend, and their pricing was reasonable—we can still send the kids to college!

“I brought my cat in late on a Friday afternoon, The tip of his tail had been severely injured. Dr. Vokral looked at it, she chose to stay late that night to perform emergency surgery & send him home with me on the same night. She made sure that he didn’t suffer one minute longer than he had to. The level of care we received was wonderful. Colonial cares for your pet like a person.. now isn’t that what you want for your baby?? Top notch service and care from genuinely nice people. Colonial will be our family vet for the foreseeable future.”

“They're always able to get you in when you need an appointment right away. Their staff is very friendly. The only thing I do not like is that you cannot go in the room with your pet. If that would ever change I would give them five stars for sure I think anyway the vets always seem nice but I'm used to being in the room with my dogs”

“Seamus - our 11 year old Beagle mix - has been a patient of Holmdel Veterinary Clinic for over a decade. (We also have Hopper - our crazy kitty who we adopted from one of HVC's veterinary assistants.)

Seamus just had his senior check up today. Unfortunately, Dr. Sturla found an issue that require's a specialist's care, so I'm a bit nervous and anxious about putting my sweet boy in the care of someone I don't know. I just hope everything goes well. Seamus is FAMILY. My husband and I need our sweet old sugar-faced puppy to live a long, happy, healthy life.

One thing I can say with complete confidence is that Dr. Sturla and his entire team truly care about their patients. My dog hates vet visits, but the staff at HVC are always so calm and gentle with him. I appreciate that they try to make the experience as stress-free as possible. (For both of us.) I'm an annoying "dog mom" who worries about every little lump and bump - but the staff at Holmdel Veterinary Clinic is always patient and accommodating. They take the time to answer every question and address all of my concerns. I never feel rushed or ignored. I am so grateful I found a veterinary clinic with such great staff! Everyone at HVC is always so welcoming and they make a such a fuss over Seamus. (He's such a little rock star!) It melts my heart to see how much they care. The people at HVC are true animal lovers. I knew I'd found a kind, compassionate vet the time I caught a glimpse of Dr. Sturla kissing my boy on the head. It was a small, sweet gesture, but it meant so much to me. It's definitely something I'll always remember.

“We brought Rudy, our 18 year old mixed terrier to LB Animal Hospital yesterday for Euthanasia. It was very hard but the right decision. Everyone there was kind and caring and it went as well as possible . I am still crying but want to say that Dr Caroline Pawlowski and staff were wonderful.I know this isn’t the most important thing but the price was fair. “Dr Astarbi was my vet for over 10 years. I had four dogs at one time and he took care of all of them. Of the 4 , two were put to sleep comfortably in my house surrounded by those who loved them. He is very professional, always gave me a call back and a lot of advice over the phone. I had one dog with Addisons disease. He took care of Bella until she passed away at a ripe old age of 15, usually adisonian dogs don’t live that long. She didn’t have many episodes but when she did Dr Astarbi helped her get back on track. I miss my girl Bella and my boy Giacomo so much. I moved to Florida and he sent me my dogs records. I miss him and Steve. I cannot find and caring vets here, what a shame. Dr Asarbi is very down to earth ,funny, personable and honest and always gave me good advice. I would get my dogs teeth cleaned every year with dr astarbi. Not one problem at all. I wish I could find someone here on the same caliber but I cannot. Dr Astarbi is highly recommended, you won’t regret having him as your long term vet. I hope you are going well, trinket and pia say hello!”

I bought my cat in for an emergency visit on a Sunday and didn't have to wait too long to see a Dr. Unfortunately I found out some bad news and ended up having to say goodbye to my Franky, but the Dr was very compassionate and let me spend as much time as I needed with him. Dr.Scott is a wonderful man who always goes above and beyond in caring for your pet, as well as provides digestible information to help you make informed decisions about your pets health. This morning, my dog was not acting right and little silver was my first call. They got us in within the hour to see Dr.Izzo, another wonderful vet at this office. He did a very thorough exam of my dog and explained to me every step of the way. It was a wonderful experience and gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such great hands. The tech, I believe her name was Katie?, also took the time to make sure she entered the ordered tests as cheaply as possible (while they were very busy), which I really appreciated. She was also so wonderful during intake and the exam. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet that allows you to be present during an exam, provides you with all the information you need to keep your pet happy and healthy, as well as staffed with individuals who truly care about your pet...they're the best!!!”

“I felt the need to leave a review because in all the years I’ve had working as a vet assistant or in the animal industry alone I have not witnessed such compassion and genuine care. To make a long story short my dog Mirena unfortunately had to be put to sleep and her own vet wouldn’t take her on a short notice even tho she was suffering. I’m terrible with names, but the woman in the photos wearing the purple scrubs made sure that my baby was seen so she wouldn’t suffer, unlike the other places I had called around to. I will be switching over to you guys as my permanent vet for my other babies as well. I just wanted to thank you again for the care and kindness your facility has shown me and my Mirena in her last moments.”

“This location has by far been the best experience I’ve had at a Banfield (I’ve visited a few). It was our first time here and it was for an injury. It was a last minute appointment, however, as soon as we walked in the staff saw how stressed/anxious my dog was and immediately attended us. They took us in right away and were very helpful. Every person we encountered was polite and gave me as much information as they could. I was very nervous for my dog but they made the experience a good one. They took great care of my boy. This location is a bit of a drive from my usual but the trip/toll was worth it and I will be returning.”

“I recently started to use Bayshore on the recommendation of a few friends. Everyone from reception, to vet techs to Doctors are friendly, warm and caring. My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.”

“I cannot say enough about Happy Tails! Everyone who works there from the front Desk, Vet techs and the Phenomenal doctors are truly wonderful. My dogs absolutely love going to see their favorite person Dr. Drotos. She is one of the best veterinarian doctors we have ever come across. She absolutely loves animals Where else can you go where your dogs literally drag you into the examination room so they can see their favorite person who then literally lays on the ground and plays with them. We have searched for a vet group who we could feel comfortable with. They are honest, caring and go above and beyond for your pet. We have a special-needs dog who requires quite a bit of medical attention and from the very beginning Dr. Drotos and Dr. Rovere have made us feel so much more at ease and confident with handling it. If you are looking for a new vet I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed and neither will your pets.”
