I had a wonderful experience working with Bountiful Gardens. Dan was extremely knowledgeable about plants and was incredibly patient in helping me select low-maintenance, deer-resistant perennials for my two-tiered scalloped corner wall.
He took the time to understand my preferences, mapped out a thoughtful planting design, and personally walked through the nursery with me to select each of the perennials. His attention to detail and knowledge made the entire process easy and enjoyable.
The Bountiful Gardens team then came to my home and professionally installed approximately 50 perennials. The finished area looks amazing! The plant combinations, colors, and placement have completely transformed the space, and several of my neighbors have commented on how beautiful the area looks.

“Baumley Nursery, Landscaping and Garden Center is more than a place to buy plants. It’s a destination for anyone who loves gardens. Unlike most garden centers, Baumley uses its plants to create beautiful, garden-like displays throughout the property, making a walk through the nursery a pleasure in itself.
The selection is extensive, with a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and specialty plants. The plants are consistently healthy and of excellent quality.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Jeff, the owner, embodies much of what makes Baumley special. He is approachable and generous with his time, but what stands out most is the depth of his knowledge of plants, landscape design, site conditions, and how gardens come together as a whole.
Jeff recently completed a landscaping project at my home, and the results are beautiful. He successfully united a more formal area of my property with a neighboring naturalistic space, creating a transition so seamless that the two areas seem to have always belonged together.
The installation was carried out by Brian and his crew, who did an excellent job throughout the project. Brian was skilled, patient, flexible, attentive, and receptive to my ideas from beginning to end. Within a day of completion, neighbors were already stopping to comment on how lovely the yard looked.
What impressed me most, however, was Jeff's commitment to quality and follow-through. The day after the project was finished, he returned to make sure everything had been completed exactly as planned.
While walking through the newly landscaped area, he noticed that a pop-up drain installed years earlier by another contractor was improperly positioned and not functioning efficiently. Despite the rain, he rolled up the sleeves of his jacket and cleared the accumulated mud and debris from the pipe, restoring drainage until his crew could return to relocate the outlet and correct the problem permanently.
That small act captured what sets Jeff apart. He noticed a problem that had nothing to do with his own work, took the time to address it himself, and made sure a lasting solution would follow.
I recommend Baumley Nursery without reservation. It is an outstanding business, distinguished not only by the quality of its plants and landscape work, but by a level of professionalism and personal attention that is increasingly hard to find.”

“The best place to buy orchids is this one. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They’ll provide you with all the information you need about your orchids. I visited this place looking for a specific type of orchid and ended up with four of them that are now blooming beautifully.”

“Thank you to Route 202 Paul an older gentleman for going above and beyond for me. On 2/20/26, I visited the home depot at 202 NJ with my one month old baby. He walked up to me and asked me if I needed help. He loaded my cart, pushed my cart to the register, put on his rain coat, loaded my truck. My truck was too small for the supplies, he went back in the rain got a rope, and tied my trunk. He made it work for me. He advised me to drive carefully. “I'm not much of a Big Box home improvement guy since I often find myself completely lost in their retailing hedgerows between the finishing nails and the smart home refrigerators that argue with you over expiration dates. Not in Monmouth Junction. Hidden behind the massive CarMax... Karl Marx used car dealership is a very navigable Home Depot. Apparently out of sight and out of mind this store is never overrun with DIY refugees and as such, sales assistance is far more accessible than their megamall stores. What probably keeps them going are the thicket of contractors which line the parking lot who no doubt appreciate the quick in and out. I debated keeping this one to myself but in the spirit of holiday giving, enjoy. Five easy stars.”
