Luoie the owner is the man with the skill and knowledge, he is honest and patient to explain the detail of the issue and parts, I called a few repair shops, this is the only one who has an idea which part is wrong, (other a few directly suggest swap the whole trans), Luo suggested only clutch set replace can solve the problem, and it did, although a bit pricy, but seems it certianly worth it! Thanks!

Ask for louie. Very fast, professional, and reasonable. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong and didn't just shove a bill down my throat. He definitely helped me extend the life of my car by at least another 2 years until I can more better afford to buy a new one. We certainly recommend to anyone in the area

My 2014 Chrysler Mini Van "limped" into Tra-Par. Lou diagnosed the problem and informed me the transmission needed total rebuild.
My van was repaired and back on the road in 3 days. That's great service!
I highly recommend Tra-Par. Lou was honest with me and Transmission comes with warranty.

Lou - the owner/mechanic, is a dying breed! His work is impeccable and his prices are beyond fair and reasonable AND his honesty is unique! Went in to get my Nissan Altima CVT transmission fixed he was very knowledgeable & the price was beyond fair turn around time was one week. I would highly recommend Tra-Par.

Tra Par replaced my 2019 Tahoe transmission and updated my software system after I broke down on the way to the airport for a vacation. I decided to have it towed to Tra Par and left for vacation hoping for the best.... When I returned I was delighted to find my truck was up and running shifting BETTER than it did when it was brand new. I was fortunate to get such an efficient and professional job done in a pinch! They are fair, professional and efficient. I highly recommend them.

On august 2023My Nissan Versa 2013was having problems with transmission brought to tradepart for inspection ,lines was broken was overprice in repairing 600 only Lavor to replace lines parts cost under 100 after 3 weeks car does not work trans failure really unsatisfactory work bad advise from beginning don’t recommend

Louie at Tra-Par Transmission was were great to deal with! Had my car towed to his shop thinking my transmission broke but after he assessed the damage it turned out to be a snapped axle. He got my car back to me quickly, felt he was very honest and I had a good experience overall dealing with him. Hopefully I won't need his services too soon again but will come back if I do.Service: Transmission

I've been doing business with Lou now for about 20 years and while I do allot of mechanic work myself, I ALWAYS go to Lou/TraPar when I need serious work done on all my vehicles (trucks and cars) when it's more than I can handle which is allot of the time!
