The store itself is nice but the cashier that is always there is not. I can’t remember her name but it was something like Dianna or Brianna or something along those lines. Older lady. When we first walked in I heard her arguing with someone because the person wanted to use EBT but they didn’t see the tiny piece of paper that was taped to the door that said their EBT thing was down. So the cashier thought it was appropriate to embarrass this poor lady about it.
When we first walked in there was a three tiered rack that had a paper taped to the bottom of the top rack that said something like “Get them before they’re gone 50 cents each” nothing specific. So you would assume that everything in the three tiered rack was 50 cents. You would at least assume that everything in the top rack that the paper was taped to was 50 cents. So we grabbed 6 boxes of the tissue boxes that were in the top rack. We go grab our other items around the store and when we go to check out the cashier aggravatingly (and kind of loudly) asked “you’re not using EBT are you??” We said no. She rings our stuff up and the tissues are ringing up as $1.50. So I say oh I thought they were 50 cents? And point to the rack and sign directly behind us. This woman tells me, with an attitude, “Nope. Nope, you read the sign wrong.” Yeah I guess I read “50 cents each get them before they’re gone” sign wrong 🙄 I already knew it wasn’t worth arguing with this woman since she clearly is never wrong. So I asked her to take them off and of course she acted like that was just so much work for her to do. I used to be a cashier. I know the kind of people you deal with on a daily basis. But girl, if you don’t want to work there, don’t work there! I remember her from the only other time I had gone to that dollar store and she had an attitude then too. Honestly surprised she’s still working there or at the very least hasn’t been spoken to about her behavior. I try to go easy on everyone. Even more so since I had my son who has autism and you really just never know what’s going on in anyone’s life. But it seems to be a reoccurring thing with this woman. I went back to work as a cashier after my sibling passed and no one even knew about it because why would I take it out on other people? Some people just aren’t meant to work in retail.

The aisle was Pretty clean, fully stocked and staff was nice they could clean that front door glass window though. I guess no one use the door handle🤔
