So, I'm pretty much a daily shopper at Shoprite. I'm on vacation and went into this one.
I went into this one Aug 14th and an item did not scan properly.
I waited at Customer Service for about 5 minutes, not a big deal. I showed the Customer Service person Robin my issue.
She asked me if I used my club card, I said I did but it did not state I needed a card. She said are you sure, I said that's why I'm here. She looked at my receipt for a couple minutes then said I have to go check. I said go check, please. It was on the other end of the store, she returned and said I was right. She was giving me back the difference. I said I should get it for free. Item was $1.99 and scanned $2.29. She said I have to get a manager and I have to take people behind you so it could be a wait. I then showed her the scan right policy and she said I need a manager and I don't know how long you will wait.
She gave me my 30 cent credit as that was the difference. I told her you didn't even contact anyone when you said I needed a manager. She said they are all busy.
I told her she needed more training to be at customer service when I showed her the company scan rite policy sitting on the counter. She agreed. Robin should not be at customer service if she doesn't know how to escalate or understand your policies. Never shopping at that shoprite again. Just an ugly experience. Whole process was 20 minutes.

ShopRite stores are committed to pricing accuracy. If the price of an item scans higher than the shelf price, you will get one of that item free, up to $10*. If the shelf price of the item is more than $10, we will void the scanned price and charge you the correct price and deduct $10 off of your purchase*.

This is a nice ShopRite. Lots to choose from. I find most of the staff friendly and helpful. Was laid up for awhile and the online shoppers do a good job. Downside is, the online ordering app only gives you like 5 minutes to go back in to edit or make changes. We should be able to make edits up until the time the order is being pulled. This is also bizarre ... I had to return some items from an online order. I had my ShopRite receipt. The clerk insisted that I had used Instacart and couldn't return the items. Huh? I use the ShopRite app. Online orders are pulled from ShopRite employees within the store. Some of the employees seem clueless.

For grocery shopping ive never had a bad experience. Tried to get free narcan from the pharmacy though. They said I would have to wait 45 minutes. Then I said I would actually need three and the lady said they were all out of narcan. The pharmacy woman did not smile once and did not seem to happy to be there.

The store is a little confusing. But has a bunch of stuff. Aisles will go from past sauce to beverages - no rhyme or reason.
Cassandra at the checkout was maybe one of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. She’s a keeper. ??

Consistently mediocre pickup service. Always running out of inventory, can’t trust that you’ll get items you need, often being overcharged for things. In store they often run out of many items (bad inventory management).

Customer observed eating out A blueberry container, then closing the container and leaving it there reported this to the store manager and staff, and was told that this happens all the time also observed people walking into the ShopRite, holding little dogs in their arms, putting them in carriages and shopping the little dog dribble over the produce This was also observed and reported to the staff at the ShopRite I was told nothing could be done about it and they were instructed not to approach your question any shoppers

Great store and selection, but you can't self check out anymore if you have over 12 items and they have 1 lane open with a cashier... I waited 22 minutes in line to check out....

Clean store, easy to navigate. Delicious and fresh food served daily and the staff is extremely kind. The ladies at customer service are especially friendly. Best grocery store in the area.
