Grand & Essex catered an engagement party for my son & his fiance. Everything was set up so beautifully & the food was delic as well. Shloimy & Yitzy were on top of all the planning & details. They guided me with menu & amounts of food to order. The personalized desserts matched our color scheme & everyone thought they were so different from what they have seen before ... and so delicious as well. Soup bar was the biggest hit too :)

Thanks for the delicious Thanksgiving food! My family was VERY satisfied with the flavors and the amount of food we received in our order for 10-12 people. The mushroom barley soup was a crowd favorite! We even had plenty of leftovers for the next day or two. I recommend Grand and Essex Market!

Yitzy and his team created a delicious menu for a shabbat dinner we hosted last week. The amount of food was plentiful, flavorful, and they included every detail to make the dinner complete! Thank you!!

Came last minute, tried explaining the Mashgiah, that we’re hosting a religious family from Israel who lost their house and all I needed is a challah and candles. His answer: “if I let you in I’ll have let others” left me shocked. There was no one around.I left speechless

Generally ok but don't get the quiche - spinach quiche has a tiny thin layer of spinach on top and that's it - it's solid egg otherwise. Weird and doesn't taste good either.

I cannot recommend Grand and Essex highly enough. They had a very small venue to work with, as my daughter's wedding was small. Yet they worked quickly and efficiently, so everything was ready with time to spare. They took care of every detail, from chupah to dessert, so we did not have to worry about a thing. The waiters did excellent work and were gracious, and the tables and food were laid out with elegance and class. Not only did it all look stunning, but the food tasted as good as it looked. Many of my guests approached me during the dinner to say they had never seen anything like it. If you're looking for top quality service, this is the place for you.

Grand & Essex did a fabulous job when they catered a weekend event in our home. The food tasted great and the attention to every last detail amazed me. The setup was beautiful and the staff were very nice. Most importantly, this part of our simcha was the easiest of all, as G&E took it totally off our hands and we did not have to do or worry even a bit. Many of our guests told us how impressed they were and that they plan on using Grand & Essex in the future.

This is Avikam. The workers were rude. As I am going they do not let me have the last word and aggravate me and I am shouting and screaming and they talk about a conflict with Bergenfield police. And Bergenfield police come and mistreat me and handcuff me as I am walking away and Bergenfield police ask if they want to press charges. Even the Bergen field police is biased. They took me to the hospital in New Bridge. And because of that they abused by forcing injections and traumatizing me. I still seem to be having flashbacks of the way they treated me."I have been living in State of New Jersey Division of Developmental Disability (DDD) group home where I have gone through and still going through abuse and neglect with the food and diet since I am a vegetarian by not getting a well balanced, nutritious, nourishing and healthy diet where I get all the nutrients and physical assaults by some of the staff and one resident and mistreatment by all staff in general since I came in this house since September 21st,2021. My overall health has degraded as a result. My physical, neurological, mental and emotional and psychological and moral and ethical and social and cultural (Indian) and spiritual health degraded and still degrading."And Grand Essex market still treated me even if I have been through and they involved the Bergenfield police which Grand Essex market involved.

I have personally done so many charity events. Grand & Essex Caterers did our Chailifeline Shabbaton this past weekend in Englewood, it surpassed every other year. In my 30 years of experience I have never seen food organized, presented & taste so amazing. You guys out did yourselves!Every Chailifeline participant felt the love through every bite. You enhanced everyones experience even accomodating the most challenging parameters of allergies, food limitations & strict hechsher. The Chailifeline family and Englewood Community should continue to support you.

With Customer service and a Chassidic employee raises his voice and interjects himself with a return with unacceptable arguing. Not returning to a market where the customer isn't put first. Don't mislabel coleslaw as lasting 2 weeks when food handling safety says 5. On top of this it was $10. Triple the other kosher markets. The soups all spoiled after 3 days in the fridge on Pesach and we had to throw all 3 out. And it's all overpriced.

Beautiful store everything you need fresh easy to shop. But the register girls need to be better trained specially in the language of English. The girl somehow didn't even know what a food stamp card is she let me swipe it like a credit card three times, she called for the other 17 old girl to help out she looked at me stupid for asking how come they don't take it. A chilul hashem especially after charging crazy prices for kosher.נישט אלעס איז געלט אפילו ביזט א חסידWas really surprised you guys don't take food stamps EBT something that every shop according to my knowledge takes.
