I have been to this place twice before as they are contracted with my insurance and I needed to go for repairs after an accident. They were excellent both times, they finished the work on the time schedule that they had predicted, and I was very happy with the repairs and the bodywork. This time I went with a different car, one that was not involved in an accident. I was not aware that they do not do body work for non-accident cars. However he recognized me from the first two times I had been there, he did take a look at the car, he told me what it would probably cost outside from a facility that would do body work outside of insurance claim, and he gave his honest opinion that the work was probably not worth it for the age of the car and the continuing decay that would occur would probably take a few years, during which time I would still be able to utilize the car in an excellent fashion, and I could save the bodywork money. He also advised that if I really wanted to pursue the bodywork repair, I should not repair the existing hood panel, but should instead look for a hood panel in better quality from a salvage yard. But because of the type of car I have, he advised that it would likely cost several hundred dollars just for a used hood panel, plus the money that would be needed to repaint it and the two side panels so that they would match. The owner's name is Paul, and he had no reason to give me his honest opinion about the car but he did, and this actually ended up being confirmed by another facility ( Fort Lee road Auto body), who also confirmed that I should save the money for another use, namely to keep the car maintained well, and should hold off on making cosmetic repairs because it would not affect the functionality of the car, nor was it going to be immediate in its decay. I thank both of those facilities for giving me their honest opinion. I would go to either one anytime.

Used Henry’s because they were in-network with my insurance company, and I’m glad I did. Highly recommend! They were a pleasure to deal with. They were friendly, efficient, did a beautiful job and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time.

Have more than one car repaired by Paul and his team. They do what a body shop should do. That is repair your car so you can't tell it was ever damaged. True professionals

We found Henry's around 8 years ago when they were listed as an option through our insurance. It was a great find. They are always on-top of things in terms of estimates, keeping us informed and of course excellent mechanics.Service: Body & Trim

My VW Atlas had a rear right side body damage. Rear wheel rim was also damaged. AllState insurance referred Henry's Auto Body Shop so I took my car here. Paul, the owner of the shop, seemed really nice and told me that he can get the work done without any problems. So I came back after 3 days as promised but he was not able to finish his job. The body damage was fixed but he said he could not take the wheel off because the wheel lock was missing. I did not know what a wheel lock was until then. Paul showed me a wheel lock that did not match my current wheels. Somehow, the wheel lock inside my car was not matching with my car's wheel bolts. I did not want to make any accusations to him, so I called Mavis Tire where I had my brake pads done the about a year ago. They said they cannot find the wheel lock, and they have no way to find it. Paul said they can take the wheels off but I need to purchase a new wheel lock at $50. He said to bring the car back next week while the parts arrive. So I told him to go ahead to order the part and I brought back my car to the shop the following week. 2 days later, he told me that he was able to take one wheel off but not the other 3 wheels. Somehow, he was able to get only the wheel that needed the rim fixed but not other wheels. He said he tried to take them off but couldn't. 2 wheel bolts were severely damaged (see attached photos). He said there is nothing he can do about it, and that I needed to take it to other shops. I left the shop paying him $1050 and with a new/extra damage on the wheel locks. So I took it to a couple of shops including Midas and Mavis tire. They all said they cannot take the wheels off without the wheel lock key. They also said they will have a tough time with the damaged wheel lock bolts. So I called the VW Dealer. They quoted me $80 (05. hours of labor) on the phone for taking the 3 wheels off. They said it should be simple job because they have the master wheel lock keys. But when I took it to the shop, they told me that they cannot take the wheel off because the wheel lock bolt is severely damaged. They quoted me 5 hours of labor at $800!!! So I called Paul and explained the situation, and he said to bring the car to his shop and he will try to take them off. He said he just got a new wheel kit that he may able to use it to take the wheel locks off. I asked him, can you guarantee it and also will he do it at no charge because what should have cost me $80 to take off the wheel locks off will now cost me $800 because of the damage he made on 2 wheel lock bolts. Paul said he will charge me for the job (don't know how long/much, and also cannot guarantee the work. I was very upset. He is now saying that he can try to fix it (before he couldn't) and he will charge me for the damage he made. I felt that I will end up paying Paul for the problem he caused (damaging the wheel locks on 2 wheels), and end up taking the car to the dealer. I asked Paul nicely if he can pay for the fix at the dealer, but said it's not his fault. A long story short, VW dealer did fix the problem, and gave me a discount so the total bill came out to be $680 ($678.67 to be exact). I think this is still an over charge but I had no choice, at the mercy of the shops. I liked Paul and Kervin(the technician who worked on the job) as a person, but the way Paul damaged my car wheel locks which cost me extra $600 and time (to go to VW Dealer back and forth) for the mistake they've made - and not admitting was very un-professional. If they cannot do the job, they could have simply said they cannot do the job-Not damaging the wheels lock like shown on the photos. My lessons learned. Always take it to the dealer, not here, because you may end up costing extra money and waste lots of time. The stress and time lost and unprofessional guidance can be very costly. I don't write reviews but this incident had to be told. I don't intend to waste my time talking to Paul because he flat out said the damage he made on the wheel lock bolts is not his fault. Then who&a
