The food is not bad depending on what you get. It's pretty much the only Dominican food around which is why I get it.However I have to say that there hours posted online are completely off it says they close at nine but passed by around 8:15 and doors where already locked. If hours are changed should definitely update your times as now you have wasted my time.

This is the best Dominican food I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was so friendly and made it feel like I was waking into a family home. The food was absolutely banging and I will do whatever it takes to take another bite of that crispy, juicy chicharrón. They give you so much food and it’s affordable. I’m on my knees begging to whoever reads this to go and try this place.

The amount of food you get in a platter is wild. Great value food and it’s delicious.I got a combo of rice and pork chops with fried chicken and plantains . There was vegetables on it. The only thing that made me weary was the service. The person serving me my food seemed very disinterested in general and upset for whatever reason. I hope the employees are being treated well there.

Lots of choices of delicious Dominican fare.Service was OK.Smoked Pork Chops were delicious. Yellow Rice has veggies in it, and the Black Beans were so good. I'm not a big Beans person, but these were delicious. Hubby was disappointed that it was very liquidity, almost soup like, but that is how I prefer it LOLOxtail was flavorful and tender. Again, Red Beans were too liquid for hubby's taste, but I loved it. heheheWe found this restaurant because they opened a new location in Lodi, just as good. But it's a small location, so there no sit-down space, which is why we came here to sit and eat.

Looooong wait. I ordered two sandwiches for takeout. I was told it would take 15min. I waited an hour. I think they had to go to the grocery store, buy the ingredients, come back, then make the sandwiches. They didn’t even acknowledge the long wait. A half hour into the wait they said it’s almost done when I asked. After the hour, they just gave me the order without acknowledging the long wait. No sorry, no free anything as a courtesy, nothing. We were so hungry waiting watching everyone eat and smelling food. Really disappointing especially because there are few Hispanic restaurants in the area. Terrible service. I won’t be going back.

I’ve been coming here for years. The best lasagna in the area. Great Dominican food that you select at the counter . Nice tables, excellent music ( mostly bachata) terrific food and byob . The place makes me feel like I’m in Santiago Dominican Republic.. just bring a six pack of Presidente’s, and Brugal Rum and let the party begin!Parking: Parking is easy, not much for vegetarian’s though

Food is decent, they got tables to stay for a meal but service is different based on you having to go to counter to tell them what you want opposed as to the waiter coming to you to take your order. Food took too long to come out for something as simple as mofongo, about 45 mins but then again, they have a lot of pickup orders, so will not be surprised if my order got lost in translation until I went to question if order was coming up anytime soon. Place is BYOB, so thats a saving. Will I comeback now that I know the ways they work, Sure if Im in the area.

They came back and delivered the soups but no fries. I dont order from them often but hopefully next time, this wont be the same issue.

I like the food but the prices are a little high. You can't bargain with quality though. We go here once in a while when we want authentic Dominican Cuisine. I really like the sancocho and my husband likes the fish.

I placed an order at 5:43pm , I was told that the rotisserie chicken would be ready in 40mins. I got there at 6:45pm( I gave them 20 extra minutes than what they asked for) While I’m there I still had to wait for the chicken, when the chicken came out I asked what else was I waiting for. Then they proceed to tell me they ran out of white rice and they were waiting for that now. This is beyond ridiculous. What’s the point of placing an order over the phone to avoid waiting to then have to wait. Please visit Better Meats!!! Lula’s, just because you’re one of the few Latin places around the area doesn’t mean you should treat your patrons like you’re doing THEM a favor. I’m taking my money elsewhere.
