I came to Peter’s in early October 2023 to get a roll of film developed and they told me it would take two weeks. It actually took over two and a half months and 12 of the photos were missing when I finally got them back. During the two and a half months that they had my film, I called periodically to ask about it and I would either get a response along the lines of “it will hopefully be ready next week” or would get the answering machine. They only returned my calls once throughout the entire two and a half month period. I am not giving them a one star review because I have no experience purchasing camera equipment from Peter’s —I noticed they had a wide display of equipment and knowledgeable staff— but their customer service in regard to film development was awful. I’ve had experience with quite a few film developing shops and Peter’s was by far the slowest and least responsive to order inquiries.

This camera store is a hidden gem in Bergen County. One of only 3 cameras stores in the county. I was looking for a zoom lens for my Canon M50. I went to to Best Buy and they had the lens I needed priced at $699 and were out of stock. My neighbor told me about this spot. Thank god she did!! I explained to Bill what I was looking to buy and he not only found me the lens, he explained it to detail. I ended buying two lenses and a backpack for less than I was paying at Best Buy for one lens. A must go to for photography!! Thanks for the help.

The man who runs the store has been super helpful and provides great advice and tips, I highly recommend. I'm from NYC and it's hard to find good film stores. I made it a goal to find some good films and lenses since I'm just getting into photography. and I went with Kodak a 400TX for B&W, Fujifilm 200 for affordable color and daylight photos, and a 135mm lense for my minolta x 700.Bill has been very helpful with advice and tips. If you have any questions about film he is sure to have an answer and advice. I honestly want to sit and chat with him about it sometime. Photography can be an expensive hobby, so this will be my big purchase for quite some time.At any rate, I hope to really push forward with film photography, this shop is amazing, and if you need cameras lenses or film, accessories ita all there. I'll have to get some nice interior photos of the shop with the owners permission next time.Be well!

Peter’s camera is a rare find these days, a shop run by a genuine individual who provides exceptional customer service and a personal touch.Great for camera aficionados and excellent for framing photography and getting prints done.

Very knowledgeable and honest about the value and capabilities of the stock. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my camera, film, or lens needs. I was able to get the most out of my Canon thanks to his helpful tips.

Knowledgeable and patient. It's so good to find a local shop that is helpful and informed. I bought my Nikon here. The guy at the counter sold me what I need and didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need. More expensive than on Amazon? Sure. But well worth the hands-on support and deserving of local patronage. I will be back!

Great little shop he gives great advise about what you are trying to shoot. He's a photographer not a camera salesman. He has use gear and new gear. Old equipment that's fun just to look at all available to buy. It's on a main street so parking can be a little tough.
