Veterans Memorial Park is a very nice, safe, and children-friendly park with a fantastic playground. The playground includes a water playground area, fun surrounding equipment, and musical instruments for kids. The park offers lots of amenities, with great courts for tennis, basketball, softball, and baseball, plus bocce. There are big fields, nice walking paths, and lots of parking. It is very dog-friendly, welcoming dogs provided owners clean up. Picnic areas are very clean, with tables in the park and under a large canopy roof, making it good for barbecue parties. Visitors note the park has been updated, though occasional maintenance issues can occur.
We also purchase our 2 burial plots on this park because the surrounding plots are always clean every time we visit my parents in law who are resting in there. Highly recommended .
