“We have used them twice so far to get alterations done for a mens Brook Brothers suit pant that got a little tight around the waist. We were a little concerned since this was a custom tailored suit. “I stopped by to wash a few comforters. The owner was beyond helpful, explaining the payment card, which machines and times to use based on the sizes of my blankets, and the place was spotless. In the front of the laundromat is a coffee/tea shop where I had my first ever Bubble Tea...delicious! This is a wonderful and unique business in downtown Bernardsville owned by a husband and wife. It's a gem and I'll be back for sure.”

In my particular case,I didn't realize that the Westfield location had earlier closing hours on Saturday versus the Scotch Plains location and the owner opened up the store so that I could pick up the door that I needed for my husband. Breast customer service ever!”

“I’ve been washing my clothes in laundromats since I was a kid. I usually frequent a particular laundromat in Newark near my house that I feel comfortable going to - but yesterday I decided to stop in and try Garwood Laundromat since I was in the area. I am very pleased with my decision. The machines are new and efficient - and although they are priced a bit higher than the ones in Newark - their efficiency makes up for it. I also like that you can pay with quarters, or load a store card and use that. There aren’t many places to fold clothes, but it wasn’t busy at all the night that I went, and I didn’t have trouble finding a spot to fold. They have oversized dryers which are my favorite to use for large loads - which are very reasonably priced. There is ample parking, and a pizzeria near by in case you’re hungry and want to grab a slice. I will be back for sure.”

You can wait in cozy seats and tables and there's free Wifi. The place has all the gear you'd need - detergents, softeners etc. The staff is very helpful - I was assisted by Frida who was excellent.
