I have on countless occasions purchased a variety of produce from this store only to find it has rotted well within 24 hours of purchase. With other nearby grocery options or farmer's markets available, they are beaten out in both price and quality. I do not recommend this grocery store in any other respect than for convenience. I do want to make it clear, the staff at this location are helpful and are by no means a detriment to this store's rating, they are in fact, the only reason the rating is as high as it is.

They constantly move stuff. Makes no sense the way it is set up. On the meat the packages never seem to be where the sale sign is.

I recently purchased a roast. The label said 2.64 lbs, I weighed it at home it was 2.11 lbs. Never again. Things are sale that I can't seem to locate until the sale is over. Ex. Green Mountain coffee in bags. I can find them on the shelf at $10.99, but on sale, it is as if they don't exist. The deli department often cuts more than i asked for. Caution is the word I would use when shopping there. And no, I won't call you, you don't care about your customers.

In March I had a engagement and came to pick up a platter of sandwiches that had been given away. The lady quickly made a new one. The manager also gave me a partial refund. Great Service.

Bakery dept is terrible. Got there at 10:30 am Saturday and every donut gone. Not the first time this happened. The bakery dept in Lacey is so much better. They always replenish and they have assorted varieties like cream filled which Bayville doesn't even make. Do better please!

Very unfriendly male manager who works at night.. his presence makes me uncomfortable. Aside from that..The quality of food has gone severely down hill. Moreover, lettuce does not look fresh, fruits and veggies do not last , milk has expired before expiration date. I recently purchased ricotta cheese and it was well before expiration date and product was discolored and did not taste right.
Horrible meat section on top of outrageous prices. Furthermore, hardly any cashiers open ( I don’t use self checkout at grocery stores) but tons of employees standing at the self checkout. Produce in lacey blows this store away.

1 star is not low enough for a store with one of the worst meat departments of any ShopRite I’ve ever seen. Shelves are in disarray and there’s more emphasis on a blaring radio than customer service. 4 employees watch the self check out for thieves while long lines wait at understaffed registers. It doesn’t matter though, cause you get away with it when you’re the only game in town. We need another supermarket here. Oh, how I wish Bayville still had Foodtown. Pricey, but 7 cuts above ShopRite in quality and service.
