Rude people and opens late for a post office

I had a missing package. Jen from this post office went above and beyond to help me get my package. She drove to the neighboring post office to look for it. When the package finally arrived at the Bayville post office she had it personally delivered in the morning. She answered the phone, she always called back. The communication and effort was amazing. The woman at the neighboring post office in Toms River wouldn't even get off her chair and look for the giant 3 foot x 2 foot box even though it had just scanned into their facility. This was a stark contrast to Jen's efforts! Thank you Jen!

Yesterday was the worst , I’m a business owner and a very nice person . I live very close to this post office . I went in for the 3rd time to do my sons passport and for the 3rd time i felt like they either a didn’t want to do it because I kept getting the run around or b being discriminated as a black woman . I literally had to call the cops and make a report and ask these people why they are refusing to service me .!!! The answers they even gave to the cop he knew it was bs . I had all my paper work correct and I had the child also with me . They were making me feel like a criminal saying they didn’t feel comfortable doing it which made no sense since I had done passports there before ! The gentleman on duty was rough , the young lady Kathy should not be working there . She was taking care of my paper work then came back with the guy to tell me they are not going to do it , the father needs to be here ! No he does not that’s why he filled out a DS Form ! I was humiliated the way I was treated and spoken too !! I will be taking further actions n writing to whoever needs to hear about this !

Twice I ordered from make up line and both times I did not receive. Package as delivered but not in mailbox. Makes me think the driver is shady.

I sent out wedding invitations in September for my December wedding and many of them got lost. One didn't get delivered until February. I sent out Christmas cards in December to my team at work. Last month someone finally received one, and today another team member finally received one. This is ridiculous. I'm considering driving the extra time to either Lanoka Harbor or Toms River.

I'm disappointed, as a homeowner and business owner, I rely on the mail services heavily. Unfortunately, my mail constantly gets mixed with my neighbors and I'm sorting through it with them to receive our actual mail. As a home based business owner, my clients send me payments through the mail which constantly get lost, misplaced, and hardly delivered on time, I've been informed that payment was sent by a client two weeks ago, and yet received it. Now, I have to wait and see if my neighbors had received it or tell the client to cancel payment, and wait for them to resend. Complete hassle, constantly filled with "Sub" drivers that just don't care about the concerns of the residents.
Very disappointed.

Let me start off by saying, I never leave reviews but this time I felt like I had to. I made an appointment to get my passport done for me and my grandma but due to a technical glitch my grandma's appointment did not show up and they still took her anyway. The kindness and compassion showed to myself and to my grandmother was beyond anything you could hope for during a stressful and complicated appointment. The lady in charge of the passport was so incredibly kind and patient with us as was the front desk ladies as well. The passport lady was so informative amd knowledgeableabout the entire process. I can't recommend them enough.

This post office is a total joke the people in there have absolutely zero pride in their work they move at the pace of a snail then when you call them out on it they tell you don't come back here anymore because you have a bad attitude . And one of the guys in the big man with tattoos thinks he has the right to tell you not to come back to the post office as if he's the owner. Not to mention they have lost four or five very important papers of mine that had been delivered to the wrong address multiple times.

Useless, I went in to pick up my package that was delivered to the post office and a scraggly woman with grey hair and green eyes with a face mask refused to look for it, because “there is about 5 million packages here” Thanks for not doing your job.

It’s always a pleasure going to the Bayville post office. I will even go out of my way just to go there.
