Exceptional Service with a Smile – A Breath of Fresh Air!
After a less-than-stellar experience at another nearby location, I visited the Berlin Post Office (ZIP 08009) with cautious optimism—and I was absolutely delighted by the difference!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by an attendant who exemplified everything public service should be: friendly, polite, and patient. I asked the same questions I had posed elsewhere—about affordable pricing for registered mail—and instead of being met with frustration, I was guided step-by-step with professionalism and a genuinely positive attitude.
It was truly like night and day. This experience proves that quality customer service can be delivered consistently and respectfully—even within the same organization. The atmosphere here was peaceful and welcoming, making it easy to conduct business without stress or discomfort.
To the team at the Berlin Post Office: Thank you for doing your job with care and for treating patrons with the respect they deserve. I deeply appreciate the way you create a space where good service is not the exception, but the standard.

The employee that worked on 1/4/2025 decided to close this cite before 12pm. The postal service employee stepped outside when I asked if they were closed for the day. All this employee did was give me dirty looks. No response! Crappy customer service and lack of professionalism 👎👎👎👎👎

My son went to the berlin post office today to mail a certified letter. He is only 19. He asked the clerk for some assistance and she gave him an attitude and wouldn't help him. After he filled out his paperwork and paid she then threw the receipt at him on the counter. Rude and very unprofessional!!!! Clerk 15

Worker had an attitude and she threw the packages I was shipping off. They were fragile - I’m glad I bubble wrapped them. This is unacceptable and I will not use this location again. Workers need to check themselves . Receipt says Clerk 15

Why are masks still required when CDC recommendations to drop mask is the current status on this issue. One office no masks the next masks which is it? I didn’t know each USPS office had its own staff of medical professionals deciding such things. Why do other federal offices follow different rules than the USPS? Asking for a friend.
