Based on the reviews, Ace Hardware Bernardsville is a huge hardware store with a large variety of options and above average selection. The store is wonderful, much to choose from, and well-stocked. The cleanliness is immaculate and the location is great. The customer service is incredible, with staff who go above and beyond to help. Employees help customers find things immediately, get items from top shelves, and carry large bags to cars. The staff is pleasant, positive, and friendly. The manager is always pleasant and welcoming with a smile. However, some reviews mention that the prices are ridiculously expensive and the store has half the inventory of other regional Ace Hardware stores. Overall, it is a place where customers want to spend their home improvement dollars.

After spending almost 2 hours trying to find a shovel after my current one broke during the blizzard, Ace Hardware came through and had enough inventory of shovels and I was able to get one. I called them up and they helped me immediately. They were great.

Location? Great Cleanliness? Immaculate. Selection? Above average. The store is wonderful. Much to choose from and we'll stock. The caveat? Prices. Ridiculously expensive.
