I want to help other families be cautious of the things I did not see coming.I moved to the area last year. When greeted by Lee he was welcoming he told us about the program/what they had to offer. I expressed the concerns from moving and the change of schools with him being so young starting somewhere new made me nervous and he assured me I was making the right decision. I felt confident this school had his best interest at heart, I was wrong. We had some issues with their communication his first year, but he had so many friends, we felt that was priority. Up until this year his final year, being he starts Kindergarten in September and was set to graduate this summer with his friends. One random Friday only 3 months into the new school year his father picked him up from school at 5pm. Noticed a letter on his cubby stating to pay “$200 for summer care registration to guarantee your child’s spot” when I took him to school that same morning this note was not there. They are closed on the weekends and this was late afternoon on a Friday so when I came in Monday I asked to pay for summer registration. The girl at the front desk stated she had no clue what form I was asking about. My son’s father was on his way to work and figured since there was confusion he would stop in to register since he physically had the form. Once he arrived the staff notified him that his class was already full for the summer. When I called to see how a class of 21 students filled up in less than 48 hours I was put through to Lee who as soon as he picked up the phone greets me with “I already know what you’re calling for” How unprofessional and inconsiderate to greet someone that way after what they are hearing. I find a childcare for my son where he has now been attending going on 2 years, made best friends ,has a special bond with his teacher, and is now being told we have no summer care without warning and was not given the common courtesy to be notified so I was prepared. I was told by Lee the best he could do was put my son is on a waitlist. Both of us work full time one in military and myself in healthcare , who cannot depend on a waitlist and hope that something opens up by June for my son who is currently attending, while other schools are filling up as well potentially leaving us without any options at all. When I spoke with corporate, she having kids herself was very considerate of my feelings and told me I was not the only parent she has heard from about this location. She said she would call Lee and express the importance of considering your current enrolled families before new enrollment over them and that she was sorry on their behalf. That’s when it hit me ..sorry was something I never heard from any of the management at Blackwood.how sad? It was as if he was just another payment and not a child they knew for the last year, not what I expected after how they “represent” themselves when first enrolling. My son is 5 so I am his advocate. To Lee and Tracy, having empathy and good communication skills are characteristics you must have when working with children and parents. Without that, you are just running a business for financial gain not an organization that advertises that they represent the importance of our children. Your location will get a bad reputation, but it seems as though that’s already the case. My son was not even a thought of yours a child who has made friendships who you see everyday that will carry these memories for a lifetime. He will start at a new school again, and then another school come September that comes with an even bigger change especially at his age. The same concerns you heard me express the day we met. The reassurance given to us by you Lee, that you disregarded just a year later. I hope that you can take this into consideration for upcoming years when notifying your current families, maybe put them first and honor those relationships built with your facility. Until then I’ll accept the apologies received by outside professionals, who have the characteristics you both lack. Do better

I can not say enough good things about The Learning Experience at this location! My daughter has been going here since she was 4.5 months old and she just turned 2! I know my daughter is in such great care while she’s here!I also love the curriculum, my daughter has learned so much from being at TLE! She is so smart and polite, and I have to give so much credit to TLE for her learning “please” and “thank you” at such a young age! She not only is in the best care, but she is learning so much and thriving while here! The owner, director, assistant director and all administrative staff go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your child’s care, & your child is safe and loved! I can’t begin to explain how thankful I am that I found this place to care for our baby while my husband and I work. I honestly don’t want to think about the day my daughter has to leave because she will be too old at some point to stay in their care! I absolutely can not thank TLE enough for their continued phenomenal care over time! We love you guys!

As a mother, or any parent at that, finding the most perfect place to care for your child while you work can be a very stressful thing. I have had many experiences with other daycares, but this learning center, at this location I would recommend to anyone and everyone! I refuse to call this a daycare and I use the word learning center, because that is exactly what this is ! My youngest has been going here for 3 years and just the amount of knowledge and capabilities that she has obtained in those 3 years will absolutely blow your mind! At 4 years old, my daughter can read and write, speak English , Spanish, and knows sign language! Her intellectual capabilities are beyond my wildest dreams. If the curriculum isn’t enough to speak for itself, the staff here is amazing. I never have to worry if my child is in good hands. They are all so attentive, caring, loving, and safety is their utmost importance! The staff over the past 3 years have grown to be apart of our family, they care for the children as if they were their own, and for some staff they are, they trust this location to have their own kids go because it is simply one of the best! I have even toured other Learning Experiences and none of them could ever compare to how I feel about the Blackwood location! If that’s still not enough to convince you , the app speaks for itself , the pictures of your child smiling with their friends, the notifications about what food they ate and the activities they are doing , all includes you to be apart and know exactly what’s being learned and done during the day! The building is clean and always kept up with. Updated and always so special when you walk in and see all of the little ones art work hung on the walls. Everyone takes pride in this center not just the staff and parents, but the kids as well. I wish I could go back in time and send my other older kids here because it is simply hands down the best choice I have ever made for my daughter and I am glad she got to be apart of something so amazing and have all the memories she does! Worth every penny to see your child grow into someone caring, kind, polite, smart, and creative at a place who takes care of your child like their own or exactly like you do ! And that in itself is such a peace of mind in the world we live today ! HANDS DOWN BEST LEARNING CENTER EVER !!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the learning experience in blackwood. The staff as a whole was insanely friendly, helpful, and just all around good people. From the day we started send our child there at 6 months old i never felt nervous at all. After 2 years my child learned so much there and was very very well taken care of. The only reason we changed daycare was because of a job change that allowed for a part time daycare schedule (the only thing TLE doesnt offer) and was closer to home. This place is worth every dime and i could not reccomend it enough

This location in Blackwood, NJ became a member of our family in March of 2022. Each and every staff member always greeted you warmly and always smiling. My grandson grew and learned so much and was treated with love every day. It became his home away from home. I loved the curriculum the teachers followed, the updates throughout the day of what he was up to and learning, the nutritional meals they supplied and the pictures. Smiling in every one. I never worried about him. Some days he didn’t even want to leave. The director was just as warm and friendly as the staff. If you ever need a center to take care of the child in your life, make the Blackwood TLE family, Bubbles and friends a part of their lives. You won’t regret it.

Our daughter has attended TLE since she was an infant and is now 4 years old. The staff is awesome!! And most importantly, they make our little girl feel safe and loved. We have entrusted TLE with one of our prized joys and feel confident every day we dropped her off she was well taken care of. Also to note their academic enrichment is top of the line! Our daughter is more than prepared to enter the school district and excel due to the supportive academic environment offered at TLE.

We love TLE, and so does our son! He looks forward to coming in, and even knows his way to his classroom. That’s how comfortable and safe he feels. The staff in the front are very friendly, and welcoming. The evening front staff always make our son smile on the way out, it’s the cutest thing ever!It did take our son a while to adjust, but only because this is his first time in daycare. We did have a minor hiccup in the beginning that almost resulted in us taking him out of the program. After speaking with staff, and management we decided to give it another shot. We're very happy that we didn't take him out of the program. Our son really loves coming here! We love his teachers, especially Ms. Jordan, and Ms. Kayla. Our son runs into his classroom, blows us a kiss and starts his day. He is comfortable now, and we love that. His social skills with other children have gotten better, and he even comes home saying new words he learned in school that day.As first-time parents we were a little concerned with being away from him, and starting him in daycare. We were looking for a daycare that had cameras, for us to see him live while we are at work. Basically, an app that allows us to see him through “live feed”, which is hard to find. TLE does have cameras, but you don’t watch a live feed while away. I will say parents are able to sit in to see/look at cameras if need be, we don’t think it’s necessary though. Cameras are necessary in daycare, and I’m glad they have them. TLE has a special app for parents that they update throughout the day and they even send pictures of him doing activities. We always know what he’s doing, and it keeps me (mom) at ease lol. The app does the job for us, we love it!I love the fact that they make sure the kids are busy & active during the time they’re there. My son does so much in school from playing outside, to playing music, arts and crafts, and so much more! Since he’s only 1 he has so much more to learn. I’m not sure how the curriculum is for the other classrooms (our son is in a toddler class), but I’m sure it’s nothing less that great. We will find out eventually. We plan to keep our son here in hopes that things will continue to work out and be great. We have faith that it will. We are soooo pleased and happy with TLE in BLACKWOOD. Not sure about other locations, but this location is great.Lee has been nothing but excellent/great with communication between dad and I. The other management staff are also great with communicating, and so friendly! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend TLE to family and friends. It is a little expensive. But what isn’t expensive right now? It’s worth it, you get what you pay for. Trust us! If you’re thinking about bringing your children here, do it! Your children/child will love it.

My son has been going to this school since he was 1 and he is now going to be graduating from there almost 4 years later! I have nothing bad to say about the Learning Experience. Ben has surpassed all of my expectations with his learning abilities and his social skills. He can write, color in the lines, has amazing manners and I believe it is in a huge part because of TLE in Blackwood. The teachers have become my friends and I will truly miss them when it is time for my child to leave. They have an amazing curriculum and really work with the child to get them on the right path for their futures. They kids have a great time and make lasting friendships.

Both of my kids have attended TLE Blackwood as babies through pre-K and we love it there. The staff is great, we've loved all our teaches, and they've always treated my kids like family. They do lots of fun activities and crafts so my kids always look forward to going to school. I was impressed with how my son was fully prepared for Kindergarten with math, letters/spelling, and even some Spanish thanks to the curriculum at TLE!

We have had our son attending here for a few years. The staff is very friendly, responsive and respectful. TLE provides a family like atmosphere that we feel we are a part of. The facility is very clean and well maintained. There are a lot of activities that our son enjoys in a structured environment that is geared to his development. We are very happy with our decision to send our son here and look forward to being a part of the TLE - Blackwood family for years to come
