This shop is a wonderful establishment in Bloomfield. Philliph has done beautiful work for me personally on two family slipper chairs, as well as recovering all the chairs and sofas for Bloomfield College years ago.
Highly recommended.

Run!!!! My husband and I went in for a quote on a sectional we have. The owner gave us the worst customer service. I had to ask are you the owner? He appeared to not want our business. The owner barley ask question and was not interested in doing business with us. This was shocking!! However we left the shop and found another business in the area to do the job. Never again!!! Spend your money else where.

We needed our sofa reconstructed. I called Burrows & had a delightful gentleman ask for pix which i texted himWithin an hour I had an estimate that was reasonable & a date within a week to pick the couch up. One week later repaired couch was retuned - an excellent job. Most delightful people to work with - highly recommendJoan

The person I spoke was was very knowledgeable of his services and products offered. He was helpful with my questions. My only issue is I felt he was distracted by other things going on. Otherwise I had a good experience at this business.Edit: I had chairs upholstered and he did an excellent job with them and I am very happy with how they came out.

Our Design Within Reach couch was in desperate need to get reupholstered. The couch was picked up on time and returned 3 weeks later beautifully restored. While we forgot to discuss the firmness of the seat the owner filled it with a very firm seat cushion. On delivery he asked us to test it and see if we liked it, but offered to refill the cushion with a slightly softer pillow and did so the same day. Even the wooden legs were touched up and it looks brand new. We highly recommend them.

I had an excellent experience, Phillip was so nice, fair prices and fast! I took my husband's grandfathers chair to get upholstered got it back in two weeks. Not to mention he did an amazing job. I will definitely be using him again for future jobs. I highly recommend!

This would have been the first time working with him. We sent the owner 3 fabrics and trim to have pillows made. When calling to confirm he received the fabrics he said he only had 2 of the 3 of them. I told him the last one was delivered to his address and signed for by him, and gave him the date and time very nicely and politely - as I was planning to have a long working relationship with this company who's close by our office. He became more and more worked up, telling me over and over that he only had the 2, then began screaming all kinds of things including that I couldn't come look for it, that I was out of luck, that he would never work with me nor help me with the lost package claim etc etc. In 12 years of business I haven't been talked to this rudely or poorly. Also to note, after his fit of rage, he called me back while I was filing a claim with UPS, saying he found the "missing" fabric. He is neither professional nor organized and I would stay far away.

I had two counter stools reupholstered at a reasonable price. They look great! I returned to have accent pillows made. They turned out well, too.

Yes, the store is cluttered but if you want fast, professional service this is the place to go! Dropped off 6 kitchen chair seats (replace padding & fabric) on a Saturday, got a call 4 days later that they were done.

I had an antique chair reupholstered. They did a fantastic job! It turned out better than I expected. The price was fair also. The owner is very nice to deal with. I would definitely recommend this business!
