I’ve never had issues in any other chipotle but this one…. ugh!!! Felt the need to leave a review because for some reason my boyfriend and I have some sort of issue with the chipotle in Bloomfield EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It’s five minutes away from our house but I might as well drive the extra ten and go to Kearny. Went yesterday and ordered through the app, and used 700 points for extra steak. Keep in mind you pay extra for steak alone… The order was promised to be ready at 7:20 and the guy handed it to me at 7:31, as ALWAYS late with orders. That’s nothing compared to one time they made me wait about 40 minutes and they didn’t want to make my order in the regular side where people build it because I had ordered through the app already. Anyways, I go to my car and start eating and there was 0 steak, and I could taste some other kind of meat, on top of that it had a little bit of peppers and onions which I hadn’t asked for. I was whatever about it cause I just took them out after but as my boyfriend says, what if it was someone allergic? I go back inside and tell the guy that it had no steak it had something else and his response was “oh it’s because at the time I made your order there was no steak so we use chicken instead”… Mind you this was probably 2 minutes after he had done my order and the steak was low, meaning they DID have steak and probably fd up. He never asked me if I was okay with having chicken instead or if I wanted something else or if I was okay with waiting extra minutes for steak, like they’ve asked me before at other chipotles when they run out. I was expecting him to naturally take it back and fix it but he just stood still staring at me so I said “ok? Can you remake it then cause I paid for steak not chicken???” He went to the “manager”, probably a 19 years old straight out of high school, and she gave the most disgusting attitude and told him “just give her the steak”, he came up to me and I was like fine but it’s double steak btw. He gave me my steak and I ran out. NEVER AGAIN. I give up with this chipotle. Go elsewhere! It seems like all the fresh out of high school kids are working in this one, they laugh and joke around with each other while people are desperately waiting for their food. -10/10 for service.Edit: Reached out to chipotle and they reached back, they took care of me for this bad experience. I truly appreciated it, as other companies wouldn’t bother to care. Never expected a chain company to care for their paying customers this much, so it amazed me at how fast they actually got back to me and took care of the situation. Never have had an issue with the food or chipotle itself, just this one location and the people working in it. Everything else, Amazing! Thank you ??

The store is not dependable. I ordered a quesadilla with the sour cream and the vinaigrette. Obviously I’m gonna mix it . They didn’t give me the vinaigrette so now I just have a load of dry sour cream. Please be so for real.

Pros: the employees are always very nice and work well together to get through the long lines. I’ve never had a rude experience here even though the working conditions seem incredibly trying.Cons: this location is always out of major ingredients like Guacamole, chips, chicken, brown rice, etc. It seems like they’re never prepared for major business later in the night, so the ingredients they do have don’t always look fresh.

This place is literally always out of at least 3 things that I want in my bowl. Or chips. Just got told there was no chips available when there was bags of chips sitting over rhe carryout prep area. Was told those are just for carryout. So, you're telling me if I order online, I can get chips? But not if I drive to and order in store? Make it make sense.

Most of the tables were filled with trash, the stake wasn’t cooked properly, and the lady that made my plate she couldn’t wait for me to tell her what I wanted, usually I enjoy chipotle but that was a bad experience.

I've seen videos on youtube about Chipolte's increase in prices but a decrease in the amount of food you receive and I can say....Absolutely the truth! My chicken burrito was made up of 80% rice and 20% beans, chicken, etc. I am officially an ex customer of Chipolte!

ordered ahead of time for pickup and even when i got there late it wasnt even prepared. it was ordered 30 minutes in advance. they mixed up the orders, wrong quesadillas in the wrong containers and we were missing $15 worth of food. Everything had the wrong descriptions (the stickers placed on each item). Waited 20 minutes in line AFTER i ordered for pickup at 6:50.

hi, i ordered two chicken bowls from you guys today an hour ago, and the rice is SUPER hard, I can’t even eat it because it just doesn’t taste right. i’m very disappointed in this, i’ve been eating at chipotle for over 10 years and this has NEVER happened before. Please, cook the rice longer.

Horrible takeout/pickup service. I was told to wait constantly and didn’t receive my food until 20min. And they were rude. I understand how stressful the food service industry can be, but there’s a right and wrong way to treat customers.
