Since I joined Rise in November 2023, I’ve been showing up and I’ve never once looked back. What makes this gym special isn’t just the equipment or the space (which is always clean and well-maintained)—it’s the people. Ayo and Sarah are the heart of Rise. They bring compassion, patience, and genuine encouragement into every session.
As someone who once felt intimidated by the gym environment, I can’t thank them enough for helping me feel not just comfortable, but confident. They meet you where you are, celebrate progress at every level, and foster a culture where everyone feels welcome.
If you’re looking for a community that goes above and beyond in every sense of the word- this is it!

This is the best GROUP FITNESS I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE, I don’t just say that as a client, I say that as a man who takes his health serious, the attention to detail AYO and Sarah put into their classes, the technique, posture correction, and amazing enthusiasm each morning, wether I take a 5 am or a 6 pm class, is always there. 5 stars everytime from this group, and the community that works out with them.

Sarah was incredibly warm, welcoming, and highly competent, making it easy to communicate with her. She guided me through a thorough assessment and demonstrated thoughtful consideration in her programming. I truly enjoyed our time together.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Rise Fitness to others including pregnant and postpartum women and women in the perimenopause change. Strength training here will build you for life.

Amazing gym! A few months ago, I was looking for a strength training class in a group setting, and after having done CrossFit before, I wanted to try something new. Rise has been perfect. Owner/head coach Ayo and the rest of the coaches are wonderful. There are entry points for any skill level. Whether you've been lifting weights for years or are completely new, the coaches are hugely detail oriented when it comes to form and will spend time with you depending on your needs while keeping you motivated. It's a great vibe and sense of community. Incredibly clean and tidy as well!

My kids have been training with owner/head-coach Ayo since before day 1—almost 5 years. My daughter has received multiple D1 offers and will be a college athlete; her younger brother was the only freshman to start on his varsity team last year. This is in no small part to the strength, work-ethic and positive approach to overcoming challenges that Ayo has instilled, and the supportive welcoming environment he fosters for kids of all abilities in his athletic development program.
I’ve also been a client of Rise for 3 years. I started with Ayo as a personal training client, and after building my fitness level transitioned to now a 3-4x/week participant in the group classes. The attitude, environment and community Rise cultivates is unlike any I’ve experienced. Everyone shows up ready to put in serious work, but without competitive BS, and with genuine—not performative or rah-rah—support for everyone in the class. New comers are readily embraced with patience and encouragement. If you’re looking for a place to get strong, “just show up.”

As I approached my 40s, I often heard about the importance of lifting heavier to maintain strength and overall fitness. I'm thrilled to have finally made the jump to Rise. The combination of strength training and HIIT-style classes has been amazing—I feel stronger and healthier than ever. Ayo, Sarah, and Becky are incredible coaches who take the time to teach proper technique, ensuring you maximize your results while minimizing the risk of injury. I highly recommend it!

I signed up for my first class 1 year ago, just looking for a way to work out post-pandemic. (I had no strength training experience prior to this.) But I’ve come away with much more, thanks to the professionalism and dedication of the RISE team. The training itself works: with consistency, I’ve seen progress both in the weight I’m moving and my stamina, especially on cardio days. The coaches also do a great job instructing and encouraging, without being pushy. Really appreciate their emphasis on safety and doing the movements properly.Also helps that this gym is full of kind people, clean, and the music is fire (very good)

Ayo is not just an amazing and motivational trainer, he truly cares about you as a person and the progress you’re making in class.Gyms tend to intimidate me, but since joining Rise Fitness, I am excited to attend the classes, have not felt uncomfortable and have had nothing but a great experience.Ayo truly takes the time to provide great tips/ feedback to get the most out of your workouts. Both Ayo and Sarah are exceptional and very inspiring. I would highly recommend Rise Fitness!

I don't live very close to RISE but every time I go to a class, I think of how it's worth the trip. The programming here is excellent and the strength sessions combined with the mobility and accessory movements make for a great workout. I also love the variety of different types of workouts that are offered and know the value of the combination of endurance and strength training. The coaching is also great, and the gym impeccably clean. I highly recommend taking a class and seeing what RISE is all about!

RISE Fitness is the truth. The programming, coaching, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Even on my worst days, I've never left thinking I had a bad workout. Great balance of strength training and high intensity cardio. The Coaches also integrate a good amount of mobility work and are very focused on injury prevention. Come here for smart, intense, and efficient workouts.
