Terrible experience. Ordered a stacked wheely toolbox with same day delivery online. It was left in our mailroom and absolutely covered in dust. Genuinely thought it was a builders from our apartment and walked straight past it at first. After that, I realized one wheel was bent and it can’t be wheeled - there is absolutely no way the delivery person didn’t know this, so they obviously tried their luck that I wouldn’t notice which I obviously would!
Called up the online team who said I now have to speak to the Bloomfield store (why?? - I ordered online, not direct from a store). Spoke to the store who said they don’t have any in stock and they’ll put a note on the system and I can call the online dept back. Did this and the online dept told me they can’t do anything and I need to speak to the store. So I called the store again who then sent me to 2 different departments before someone picked up and said “I can’t hear you” and then hung up the phone. After an hour of an absolute waste of time, I now need to drive to the store with the very dusty box, get a refund and then go to another store to buy it there.
Complete waste of time. Never again!!!

I purchased a piece of wood and requested that it be cut according to specific measurements. The person assisting me was training someone at the time, and there may have been a mistake in the cut. I understood that and returned to kindly ask if they could help trim the excess.
However, the individual who originally assisted me responded in an unprofessional and insulting manner, refusing to help and telling me to find someone else to do it. I was taken aback by this attitude, especially since I approached the situation politely. While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, I believe that customers should be treated with respect.
I am not expecting any favors or free services—I paid for my materials and simply wanted proper customer service. This experience left me feeling frustrated and unappreciated as a customer. I hope that you will take this matter seriously and ensure that such behavior is not repeated with other customers.

General like this place, but cashier is really rude. I saw the previous customer checked out herself then I followed her just trying to check out 2 bags. Then the cashier rushed to me told me it’s not selfcheck out I need to wait. This is fine. But then she gave me a full set show: a mean face and rolling the eyes and angry like I’m doing terrible things. I come to buy your product, not your attitude. Whoever is the manager should tell the cashier how to act like a normal person.

I was in this store over the weekend and their service is horrible. There are tons of workers but they all have their heads in their phones. Good luck finding someone that’s not preoccupied on their phone to help you. In other cases they see you coming and they start walking in the opposite direction. It wasn’t always like this. This was one of the better HD stores but not any more. It’s an extremely frustrating experience.

Customer service isn’t the best. A cashier/staff will throw your stuff in the cart or large orange carrier as if you’re not paying it with your own money. Very disrespectful and could possibly damage your items.

I had a terrible experience at the Bloomfield Home Depot. Why even have self-checkout cashiers if you’re going to have an employee yelling at customers to scan their own items? The employee working there was incredibly rude and clearly hated her job. I was simply walking to a green-lighted self-checkout when she started being nasty. Her attitude was so unpleasant that I genuinely felt uncomfortable. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store. Home Depot’s customer service is going downhill, and this experience just confirmed it. Ridiculous and disappointing.
Ps: I don’t usually go to this location, my location is in Union County (more educated people)

The staff were helpful. I wanted to buy a nice pair of scissors which cost more than a pack of 5 scissors. Now I have scissors all over my apartment.

Bolt hardware selection is truly abysmal to the point of nonexistence. Prepare for empty drawers and missing inventory followed by an hour long line because no checkout clerks are employed.

Worst experience of my life! Young lady at counter was rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. Ended up mixing the wrong color paint.

This Home Depot is a very busy store and it amazes me that they can't get their act together with the registers. I have been there a few times this month and have used different registers with different cards and no matter which one is used need assistance
with the cards. In a store that makes this much money and it's so busy I don't understand why we have to go through this inconvenience . It occurred to me and several other patrons. Home Depot get your cash registers up-to-date

Quite possibly the worst HD in the whole state. They never have enough people on registers.. It appears that their preference to restock or reorganize items is during normal, regular business hours

Went to get 2 pieces of plywood cut. After walking around for 15 minutes I finally find a rep. Tells me he has to look for the person that does the cutting. Waited another 1000 minutes. Guy finally shows up. Looks at the plywood and the measurements I need. Tells me he can't do it. I just left. Drove 15 minutes to the Home Depot in Clifton. In and out in 10 minutes with 2 cut pieces of plywood. Don't waste your time. Go to the Clifton store. The store is cleaner, more organized and full of helpful staff.

Worst place to get professional help. The pro service lines are closed and the check out takes forever. Don't go there if you have alternative places to dhop
