THIS PLACE SUPPOSEDLY OPENS AT 7 AM. THEY ARE NEVER OPEN AT THE CORRECT TIME. ON MONDAY 03/24/2025 THEY OPENED AT 8:34. HOW CAN A BUSINESS SURVIVE WHEN THE PEOPLE WHO RUN IT ARE NEVER OPENING ON TIME. SAW AT LEAST 4 CUSTOMERS WALK AWAY AND WITNESSED 2 STAFFERS JUST WAITING FOR THE ABYSMAL SHIFT LEADER OR MANAGER TO FINALLY OPEN THE STORE. IT IS ALSO A SHAME THAT THEY HAVE SHOPLIFTERS ALL THE TIME AND NO SECURITY TO DEAL WITH IT AT A LOCATION WITH MOSTLY FEMALE WORKERS. EITHER DO BETTEWR OR HIRE SOME COMPETANT RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE TO OPEN AT 7 AM.

Pharmacy staff are unprofessional and don’t know how to talk to customers, they refused to give me my wife proscription without properly explaining. They have me go back for the insurance card, when I came back the next day, they said they won’t accept the card until I bring the proscription. But my wife went back and got it with no problem. So why was it hard to tell me that my wife herself had to come get the medicine? Very difficult staffs and arrogant.

Very bad experience, it's the second time I've been there and that little girl with half-dyed hair, I don't know why she works in customer service if she doesn't have patience or help customers.

I went to the Walgreens on Bloomfield Ave in Bloomfield next to the Auto store this afternoon. If I could leave a 0 star I would. When I walked in the store I didn't see any shopping carts so I asked one of the employees if there were any available. He said no,no explanation or assistance in finding one. I am a disabled elderly woman and even tho I use a cane it's difficult to shop without a cart. They lost out on at least a $60+ sale.

Worst pharmacy ever. Every time I have a prescription, they claim my insurance is not on file. The woman is a nightmare to deal with. She always gives an attitude. If you don’t like your job, quit.

IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. HOW DO 2 OF MY NARCOTIC MEDICATIONS HAPPEN TO SEEM LIKE THEY’RE BEING STOLEN?!
Filled online 2 scripts. They fill one same day. Tell me the BENZO IS OLD AND CANT BE REFILLED EVEN THOUGH IT EXPIRES 04/10/2025. It was a CUTE experience having about 3 techs pass me around on the phone all saying they were “PHARMACISTS”. I Asked to speak to a PHARMACIST NOT A TECH. Told them I could sue them for refusing to fill it. They kept saying “call your doc and get a new script.” The pharmacist when I had ENOUGH OF GETTING LAUGHED AT BY THE BALD INDIAN MAN FOR ASKING TO SPEAK TO A PHARMACIST. In the state of NJ, If a pharmacist EVER denies to fill your script & it is in good standing. It’s illegal. (I come from a family of GOVERNMENT AND LAWYERS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS. ) The pharmacist that I talked to had NO CLUE WHY IT WAS CLOSED. DIDNT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE PROMPTS TO CALL MY DOCTOR. Has anybody’s doctor usually given them their PRIVATE number at a psychiatric hospital? Bc that’s where I get my meds. THEY CLOSE IT. EVEN THO IT SAYS ONE REFILL. My doc didnt do it. The insurance company gave them a number they could call to OVERRIDE IT but “they cant speak to the insurance and override anything”. ITS NOT OVER!!! THEN, I send my boyfriend to pick up my 2 NARCOTIC MEDS. They dont ask for ID. Apparently if someone knows the last 4 of your phone # they can walk out with a benzo and gabapentin. Cute. Didnt ask him for Identification EITHER. IT DOESNT END. ALWAYS COUNT YOUR MEDS. 30 pills were ALSO missing out of the Gabapentin bottle. I walk right back to the pharmacy. She didnt even QUESTION it. Filled it. “oops sorry”. Ok. Im not dumb. I live in a major city, in a drug riddled area outside NYC in NJ. So, someone is skimming & selling. TRUST ME. Ive seen this before, happened to me at a different Walgreens in Union City. Tried to skim 30 pills. A SEPARATE TIME the PHARMACIST THERE DENIED HAVING MY MEDS AT ALL. Zero refills. Said it was refilled. Why didnt you look to see if it was picked up? NEVER BROUGHT THAT UP TIL I TOLD HER I HAVE ME EMPTY BOTTLE AND LIVE FIVE MINS AWAY. All of a sudden my 90 pills “magically appeared” in the freaking white cabinets that hold EVERYONES MEDS WHEN THEY PICK THEM UP. Been prescribed Gaba for 10 years. How come this only started becoming a problem FOR ME when it became a “narcotic” about 2 years ago. My sister is a nurse, and my friend was a pharmacist. ALWAYS check. check. then recheck. Many nurses end up in rehab for stealing medication, & I personally know a PHARMACY TECH that got in serious trouble for stealing hydrocodone. So dont think it can happen. And it will happen here. Im going to keep my eye on that 1 refill that is still in my account. If it EVER disappears, it doesnt matter. Because Ive already taken action. What that means I guess they’ll find out. And NEVER let ANYONE LAUGH AT YOU FOR THREATENING TO SUE OVER GOOD MEDICATION. BC 9 times out of 10- dont know jack, bc theyre not from this country or just a plane moron.

Waited for my medications almost 1 hour. Peopeat the pharmacy department very rude and unable to help you. Give me the wrong information. My dr send over my medicines, I went to pick them up, they told me my meds were ready.. so one of the pharmacist went to the back and told that I told the wrong information. What kind the costumer service is that!
And also the pharmacy is always dirty..

This review is specifically about the pharmacist and pharmacy staff at this location. They are incredibly disorganized and do not value customer service in the slightest. I set an appointment and checked in two minutes early. I waited 45 mins before deciding to walk out and cancel my appointment. Go to the CVS down the street and save yourself a headache. Read the lowest reviews and you’ll see what I mean about the pharmacy. You can report them to corporate as I just did but be sure to add the store number and specify that it’s the pharmacy staff. The store staff is great in my experience.

This place went way down hill. Just spent 25 minutes waiting on line to pick up a prescription. I wanted to grab some new mascara and bath products before I left so went to go get some. There was no shopping baskets anywhere to be found, and all the products are locked up. So if I want to shop I have to wait for one of the two employees on duty to follow me around the store to pick out my items. Left without buying anything. I'll go to another location that doesn't lock up every single item.

I don’t know if they don’t have enough people working there because every time a call and is every time they put me in hold for very long periods and never come to answer the phone , very bad costumer service. Will change this pharmacy they don’t have any empathy for their costumers 😩.

Went to pick up my prescription at 10 a.m. They tell me to come back in an hour. I came back 4 hours later to be told that they don't have a full prescription. They send me to another store and this new store cannot full the script because of what this store did.
Very annoyed for all this time wasted.

There is an older man who works at this Walgreens who is the most obnoxious and boring person I have had to deal with in a long time. Every time I go to use the coupons that the same store provides, it refuses to provide the service, giving false information, and creating rules that apparently only apply to some.
He says that you can only do one transaction with coupons per day, when he refuses to serve me I proceed to go to another Walgreens that flatly denies that policy that the boring man at this Walgreens created.
I understand that working in customer service is not easy, but it doesn't hurt to treat people well either.

Some kids were stealing and I let the cashier know and she told me she's not interested in knowing that.
