Good to still have a store that you can go in and get what you need.

It's unbelievable that they only have the bathroom for the employees not for the customers I take high blood pressure medicine and I have to use the bathroom often, and they say it's out of work so the employees only can use it or they go home to use the bathroom. I guess I have to choose a different Staples. The employee send me to a Dunkin donuts near by.

I wasn’t too thrilled with the service at the Staples in Bloomfield, NJ. There was no clear direction for customers, and the employee near the UPS register seemed a bit possessive about who they attended to—it just felt weird. The line was long, and after waiting over 10 minutes, I was finally rerouted to another register. The whole experience was disorganized and frustrating. Definitely not the level of service I expected.

Some of the associates are helpful Some are not

I recently visited Bloomfield, NJ Staples (1/18/25) with high hopes of getting some office supplies, but my experience was unfortunately marred by the lack of service from the associates. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service wasn't a priority for the staff on duty.
At the checkout, the experience didn’t improve. The cashier seemed distracted and walked away to assist an associate before completing my purchase. Another associate came over and asked if I wanted to purchase the items and appeared puzzled as I responded with the sales receipt in hand that I had already paid for the supplies. I was waiting for the associate to remove my purchase from the secure ink cartridges casings.
Customer service is a crucial element for any store, and unfortunately, the associates at this location seemed disengaged and unmotivated to assist customers. I understand that everyone has off days, but when you consistently receive poor service, it leaves a lasting negative impression.
Hopefully, Staples can address this issue with their training and expectations for associate behavior, as it's not just about the products – customer experience matters too. Until then, I’m considering other options for my office supply needs.

I bought an Asus laptop/Chromebook at Bloomfield, Staples I went to the same store and ask about a charger. I was rudely dismissed and told They don’t sell the chargers when I told the employee that I bought the laptop at the store, I was told I just told you we don’t sell them, and the person walked away.

Not enough associates, in the store, nobody to help you in the aisles, the return line is always too long, only 1 associate doing returns for Amazon, and the other 2 laughing and joking .. sorry but they need more people who really care about their job.

This is the worst staples you can ever go in New Jersey.. the customer service is horrible.. you can see the workers just fooling around and not doing their job right.. I literally buyed a PlayStation gift card just so I could get a message saying this is a prepaid card…
overall don’t come here

I'm here in staples in the Amazon line and one girl doing it all while her other co workers stand and and laugh and joke not help her get the line down.
Not great customer service or team work on there behalf. Management should teach their employees how team work works.

Girl with dreads and glasses was extremely rude/passive aggressive and seemed happy not being able to help because in her words she has no help. I literally needed 20 black and white copies, I was here last Friday and it took an employee less than 3 minutes to do it. The self printers weren't printing them the correct way.
She could've easily done it but I saw her turn away 3-4 customers because in her words she's the only one there. So if that's company policy, you need to tell that to your customers before they take 20 minutes drives here. Super unprofessional

Be careful dropping off packages here. Have had a Christmas gift stolen dropping off with UPS a few years back. I also had to return a HP laptop and I used the FedEx drop box. Someone at fedex replaced my laptop with water bottles and stole it. Only remembering to write this review cause yet again someone from FedEx stole an order of mine.

I went to Bloomfield staples and the cashier was rude. The minute I wanted to pay she stated “ugh customers”. If that’s the type of workers they have I rather buy my stuff from target way cheaper too.
