Terrible. The manager a short on the heavy side South American with poor communication skills in English was mean, unprofessional, argumentative . The place was dirty ,dark and somber. The female called herself a manager needs to go to training to learn how to manage a business. I requested a wash and blowout she kept changing the prices. Who pays 80.00 for this service. My hair is shoulder length. Soft curls.Unbelievable. No wonder there were no customers. All reviews are bad. This place should be shut down. Ripoff. It is obvious that the owner of this business don’t care for the customers. All this bad reviews and none has been answered or apologized for any bad customer service. Don’t go there.

Had a sweet 15 I had to go to last minute so I needed a cut this by far got me so upset !! How do you mess up my side hairline when it’s already there ? You guys pushed my side burns to back now it doesn’t match at all , also service was horrible i specifically told them NOTHING OFF THE TOP and they cut it off either way Please stay away from super cuts go to a Dominican or Puerto Rican barber shop !!!

Alexa was TERRIBLE. I told her 4 times I wanted my hair 4 inches off, and she kept repeating the words like she didn't understand what they meant. Maybe I should have said ten centimeters.I also asked three times for length longer in the back and gradually shorter in the front with layers. She gave me a blunt cut, straight across, and only took 3 inches.HORRIBLE. Does not listen.

They mess my hair up every time and I don’t get it all they have to do is trim it. I went a few days ago and came home and it was so uneven when I pulled both sides to the front that I had to cut 1-2 inches on one side myself. Horrific

Didn't get a haircut for a LONG time after moving to Newark because the first person I ever went to (Not Supercuts) messed up my hair so badly I had to take a buzzer to my head when I got home to just start over. Next haircut was here, done very well. So I came back after a while (today).Unfortunately it seems like I'll be back to cutting my own hair for a while until I find a new place. Not only did the stylist keep cutting when I said multiple times that I only wanted the bare minimum off the top ONLY IF it needed to be evened out, but looking now it is totally uneven. I said I wanted my eyebrows waxed, she took a trimmer and just buzzed the center and shortened my eyebrows. Great, it came with the haircut and I didn't need to spend an extra ~$10 on the eyebrow wax. Not what I asked for, not what I wanted. Overall a horrible experience, I was better off cutting my own hair the cheap buzzer I bought online.

Do you want to drive to the shop when they tell you and 1) be told they don't remember telling you that and 2) there is a two-hour wait? Then use this Supercuts location. The manager won't refer you to other haircutters in the shop and makes you wait every single time you go there. I used her for six years because she was the only one who could cut my hair straight when I returned to NJ. But the attention to detail has gone down while the disrespect for my time went up. She told two other families to come back the next day and another customer left saying she will return in case things better later. But I won't return. After 6 years of good tips and buying product from the store out of courtesy, it's clear that being a regular customer means nothing there. Good luck to everyone else who works there.

I went here on a whim, I asked the lady to cut my hair to just past my shoulders... I guess she heard something else? I now am sporting a Dora the Explorer look until my hair grows back. I was just so shocked and at that point what can you do? I can't make my hair longer like what I wanted.Sigh. I got what I paid for :(
