One of the worst manager who is clueless and doesn't know how to treat customers. He is a horrible person. He kept on following us. So scary.

If I could give this store no stars, I would. It is one of the worst Home Depots I've ever been too and unfortunately is the one closest to me. Local access to it is terrible and congested; the parking lot is a crowded, filthy mess; the store is a mess, poor inventory, limited sales help and almost no checkout personnel and huge lines (30+ people).

My local Home Depot, its more of a 3.5 star rather than a 3 star, but they dont do half stars on here...We get almost all of our home improvement needs here. We come here every month or 2.My biggest gripe with this place is the parking lot... I know that they build whatever they can with whatever land they are able to get, but it is a very awkward property, and driving through it is weird. They also have tons of speed bumps that are super super SUPER annoying on the south entrance/exit.Other than that my other gripe is staffing... They never have enough staff. They have to call people and you have to wait sometimes 5 or more minutes for someone to help you with something. Like purchasing paint, or cutting carpet, etc... They also have cut down on checkout cashiers, and there is a 20+ person line every time...Other than that, they always have everything that I need. I usually go for generic or simple things like a toilet seat, or door knobs. Things that they should have 200 of at each store lol! Never had any issues finding anything that I needed.I highly recommend downloading their App! It is extremely accurate! It will tell you the aisle, section, and most of the time shelf that an item is located on. Plus you can compare the skus very easily. All in all, a good HD. Aside from the terrible parking lot and staffing issues, I have never had any issues finding anything that I needed.

Unlike other HD locations I've been to, this one has a single line for order pickup and returns. It was out the door when I showed up, and didn't move. I turned around and left without my order, which I will be canceling. Additionally the store is way too big for the immediate area. It's at the end of a pair of dead end streets, neither one of which is big enough to carry traffic in and out. Traffic was backed up in both directions. A big headache just to get there. Never again will I shop at this place.

Their delivery service scheduling is the worst! Expected a delivery of appliances, they send a 4 hour window of when to come, didn't show up. Got a new date, and they want me to be available from 07 AM to 7 PM, and they can't give a delivery window until the night before. This is what you call, you should be happy to be our customer and we are doing you a favor to deliver what you bought.

I have a pro account but it is not being honored at this location because I do not have a purchase history with them. Clearly if they would honor my account then I would have a history. I use text to confirm at multiple Home Depot locations and never had this issue. I called the Clifton and Newark locations and they do not understand why the manager here will not approve the transaction. They wouldn't even take my credit card information over the phone.

This location has consistently been a let down to my family and I. It's the closest to our home but we prefer to go anywhere else to get what we need. Unfortunately, they have a serious inventory issue and never have a legitimate excuse for why. For example, we are redoing the floors in our basement and their site said they had 23 cases of the one we liked (we only needed 6 cases). We drove all the way there and we're told they don't carry that floor at all. Then asked another rep who showed us where it was but that it was out of stock, a 3rd rep told us it was an online only item and that "you shouldn't trust the count online because it's never accurate." Not to mention, you have to chase down the associates because they are busy chatting and gossiping instead of helping customers. This is just one of multiple disappointments. I would recommend you try the one in Clifton or elsewhere.

45 people in line and 2 registers and this is normal This manager should be fired. I would like to get my supplies and leave.I understand this is not the best of times, but come on. 2 registers open and 35 people inline.

This is the absolute worst Home Depot! The management is unprofessional and incompetent. When I tell you that they are clueless, that is an understatement. The staff is rude and obnoxious, that is if you can even get them to acknowledge you.

Horrible. Finding help is impossible. When you do find a person who works here they respond as if it's a bother to ask a question. One long ridiculous line that is for self check out and not all of the self checkout registers are available. Never ever will I go there again. I'll stick to Lowe's.

The pro desk employees have one guy making all the calls & payments. The line is half way through the store & I will be here for an hour to purchase 5 items. Not surprised about the way things are run here considering the Area it's in .Needs better management and the CASHIER who told me to wait in line was friends of the man behind me . Very unprofessional rated one star for a reason.. GET A CLUE

The Garden section is fine here, but - if I have the option - I'll go to an alternate HD location if I need something from another department.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

Went to this Home Depot because I was in the area. I'll never go again! I've never experienced such rude customer service. The culprits were the woman at the customer service section and then the guy that came to help me. He acted like he was bothered to help and then would't get off his a** so I had to go to the stock area and pick it up myself. I will be filing a complaint with home depot.

Fully stocked, nice garden area, ample parking. Minus 1 star for customer service. It's difficult to get assistance because the staff is usually chatting with eachother or on their phone. If you can get help then they're great and knowledgeable but until then, you may get a headache trying to get assistance. I'll still come back.
