Came in for a loc appointment today and I was assigned to a different lady to do my hair. First, I want to know how you guys hire the people you hire? If they don’t know how to do locs, they don’t know how to do locs. Why should they be allowed to give a person a retwist with little to no experience? The stylist complained that my hair was “dry” and that it is impotent to “trim the ends”. This was a first as no stylist has ever uttered those two sentences before. She then proceeded to cut the ends of my LOCS, I repeat my LOCS. Then to top it off not only did she do that, she didn’t even finish tying the rubber bands onto my hair for the two strand twists because the locs was “too big”? I’ve never heard this sentence uttered ever in my life, but what can I expect for the price. It was quite the underwhelming experience and I can promise this place will not be seeing me again.

Very bad experience . Our regular stylist was not available And a substitute stylist was there and she messed up my daughter's hair after they called and changed the appointment and was late after that. Also they don't call you back when they say are going to. Not recommended at all .. besides it's no parking available not worth your trip

I had a new stylist that I’ve never had before. I could tell right away she had no idea what she was doing.
She played in my hair for over two hours. I asked for a silk press and my hair was frizzy. I have never in my life seen someone cut hair the way she was doing it. I eventually asked her to stop and lost my cool. I had to speak with Mel and immediately started balling because I was exhausted and expected a relaxing experience. My hair looked awful and I had plans in the evening. Mel fixed my hair but I was still charged for the press. However she did take off the steam and deep condition off my bill. I am not happy with my hair and now I’m afraid it’s cut unevenly. After I got upset the woman who seemed to had never done hair before walked around with her nose up to me with an attitude as if no mistake was made. I was so unimpressed.

I have been getting my hair done at this salon for years. Mel is very patient and cares about her clients personally and the health of their hair. She’s very professional and whenever I show up I’m seen almost immediately. I would recommend this salon for any style you want.

This is the best place on earth!!! Extremely professional. All the stylists are experienced in their craft. This salon doesn’t believe in having clients sitting around and waiting. If you have an appointment you are guaranteed to receive your service in a professional manner. All the stylists are polite, friendly and make you feel welcome. The owner of the salon makes you feel like you’re part of her family. You will not catch me going anywhere else!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at this salon! I had my first appointment yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. Simone took care of me, and I got mini two-strand twists which turned out perfect. Finding a reliable salon has been a struggle since I moved to the area, but this place is a gem. I arrived on time and hey started working on my hair promptly. The salon's decor is stunning, with elegant touches and my favorite color, pink. Prior to discovering this salon, I had unpleasant experiences elsewhere – from long waits to being overcharged and having staff complain about the thickness of my hair. But here, the staff were incredibly professional, kind, and efficient. Simone made me feel appreciated and understood exactly what I wanted. I was moved by their sincerity and left feeling truly uplifted. I can't praise them enough for their exceptional service. Thank you for making my day and for becoming my new go-to salon. This is a big deal for someone like me who loves having their hair done but isn't skilled beyond a wash and go routine. I will definitely be back soon and again thank you so much.

Do not work there or even get your hair done here! She treats her employees like absolute garbage in front of clients, and I have even witnessed that when I was there not too long ago. She will mess up your hair and she does not take in walkins at all. Just clients that have already been there before it's like what's the point of even opening up the salon if you're not gonna take in walkins. If an appointment gets canceled then stylus have no choice but to stay there for hours with nothing to do. Plus they get paid only commission they do not get paid hourly which is ridiculous because the shop is super slow. The owner will act friendly toward you, but will definitely talk behind your back. I have also witnessed this. The energy there is disgusting and I advise if you are new to that salon don't even bother go look for something else and don't even think about applying to that job because she's not considerate with her employees. Hires them and doesn't give proper training. Yells at them instead of talking nicely all in front of clients. Then fires them for nothing, thats why she cant keep an employee for more than a year. How disgusting. Will hire a salon coordinator that also deals with the social media, but deletes their post and come up with her own thing. If you go on her Instagram, you will see the difference. Such an entitled and miserable individual.

This shop is a waste of time Mel is very unprofessional I did a demo this past Tuesday for her and she stated that she was going to call me but never did I try to give her the benefit of the doubt because I know she was busy that day and she was getting her hair done as well I did my client hair at her shop and my client was very pleased with her hairstyle I did a Middle part sew in which took a few hours because we got there 10 mins late and she had to arrange for her baby to be picked up by her mother the only thing we didn’t get to do was curl her hair because she had to leave unfortunately prior to that my client brought her kid inside the salon which the salon stated they don’t allow Children in the salon but we had to make an arrangement for her kid to be picked up which we did and mel came over And she was checking out how I was doing my client hair as soon as my client sit in my chair I got busy on her hair it took me a little over two hours to finish her hair because of the baby situation and we did run a little bit behind because of that I did my clients hair because I wanted a chance to showcase what I could do my client was very pleased with her hairstyle and Mel was supposed to call me and let me know what had happened that day to explain whether I got the position or whether I didnt she never called so I assume that either two things she was busy and she never got a chance to call me or she just didn’t like the way I did my clients hair and she didn’t want to hire me but I find it very unprofessional because I’ve been calling her for the past two days trying to get in touch with her just to thank her for allowing me to do the demo in her salon despite the fact that we had the baby mishap with my client but overall I think I did a pretty good job I have things to do as well and I don’t like my time being wasted I did the interview the interview was at least of what I thought to my knowledge it went well but I guess not but it’s a it’s not what you do with how you do it that’s not how you treat people but it’s OK thank you I felt like she played in my face and that’s not how you treat people because I really thought that she was a nice person and I really loves her salon

Today I went into Ultimate Visions for a rinse and silk press, I have never been so disappointed with a hair service in my life. I found out today that last November, when I came in for the same type of appointment (rinse & silk press) I received a “single process color.” This is a service that I have never heard of before but was told by the owner, Mel, that my booking information from last year under my client profile had “single process color” listed as the service. So unbeknownst to me, I had permanent color in my hair for over a year, which is not what I wanted nor what I asked for. Whenever I make an appointment with this salon the only words that leave my mouth are silk press, rinse, and Mel (my usual stylist). Today I also had to work with a different stylist because Mel was booked, which I thought nothing of. Until I got the greasiest silk (if you want to call it that) press I have ever had. My hair is greasy, smells burnt, and my roots are still curly! I had a horrendous experience today. I did not leave with the look and style that I expected. To say that I am disappointed and angry is a gross understatement. I will not be returning to this salon ever again.
