I tried to have the lady at the front make a label for me and she refused to make me a label and made me write the address on the box, then told me I wrote it wrong. Absolutely useless and I just will not be coming back ever again.

This is a great post office , workers wonderful , friendly staff especially Simona she is a hard worker and always assists you with a smile. They could use more staff but the line runs as good as it can be and I never have an issue with mailing my packages as I have in the USPS on 40 Clinton in Newark. 40 Clinton refuses to ship my packages or mail a receipt even with a prepaid label. Please hire more people for this location and open at 9:00 so I won’t have to go to the 40 Clinton location near work.

What’s going on with this place? We scheduled an appointment for our baby’s new passport and arrived on time, only to find that no one acknowledged our appointment. We decided to give it another try today—and the exact same thing happened again.

I always go to this post office for shipping, I get the lady she is very good the only reason I give this location 3 stars, but Eric be aware of this guy, when I requested certified receipt slips, he lied to my face and said there wasn’t any, when they clearly were right next to him on the wall, I waiting patiently in line and requested them again when it was my turn and I got them when I pointed to what I needed. It doesn’t end there, I had a package to ship I handed it over through the window. 10 days later the package hasn’t even left the sorting facility. I been on the phone with usps every 3 days since I mailed the package now I’m scared that the certified mail didn’t make it out either. Be aware of Eric, horrible horrible customer service.

The clerks have not respect for people's time, they are so slow. They just take they time to even move. They just standing there with a huge line of customers and yhey don't care. Unbelievable!!!!

Bloomfield Post Office- oblivious to postal mail theft
I’ve noticed my packages are not being delivered- and when I track them they show as delivered.
I also notice that I’m missing mail pieces- but I get my neighbors mail- all of the mail in our building gets put in my mailbox.
I also notice that when I go to the post office to inquire about these missing items there’s always a huge 20+ person line with one teller
Has anyone else experienced these problems?
Do I have to file a police report?
I filed a claim for my missing package and USPS denied it because it shows as delivered- but that was the original problem- it was never actually delivered!!! I’m furious!

Went to renew my son’s passport. Their walk-in hour is listed for Tuesday 3-6. In my world, if a customer walks in for a service at 5:59pm they have to be serviced. I understand the last minute customer is an inconvenience but when we arrive at 4 pm (within their posted walk-in hour) and get denied service is just outrageous to me! They claimed their website service walk-in hours were incorrect, if that’s the case that should’ve been addressed. But working in corporate, I know that’s not the case. The passport taker didn’t want to have to stay there pass 6! USPS Bloomfield - you need to do wayyyyy better!!!

If you want to waste your life in line just to be talked down to after asking a simple question at the window then this is the place for you. These employees have no professional etiquette and act entitled with their sarcastic replies. They act like you are a bother even if you greet them respectfully, do us all a favor and learn to treat people with respect. I’ve received the same treatment at the post office in Clifton so if you hate your job that much..too bad, you applied there not me.

I hope they close this nasty place full of lazy people!
Ungrateful, lazy with bad attitude left and right, never scan any packages and can’t get an answer for anything. I hope they close it down and hire decent people!
