The owner is extremely accomodating with holding subscriptions (for good reasons) but is moderately strict about FOC Pre-Orders (wont be able to cancel a Pre-Order aftet FOC). If you are collecting a series I highly advise downloading the Comic Geeks app and linking your account to the Expired Robot store.
By doing so youll be able to subscribe to series and preorder specific upcoming issues / trade paperback books.

“This place is a true NJ landmark it has been around since the 1970's or 1980's and that was when on first time to get my first true R/C car. I was a kid and now I am 56 . They have everything you can think of when it comes to the R/C hobby and glad to see they are still are while alot of the other shops have gone away which is real shame because people lost interest, didn't know or couldn't afford the hobby but truly glad this one is still around and going.”
“Rode by on wim on a busy day of one of the two co-owners, was still welcomed by to take a look. Left with 4 pieces and spent a lot more than I planned to. Left with some way more than fair deals and made a business relationship I plan on keeping for a long time to come. “I needed to have photos framed and went to my local Michaels' . The woman that helped me was the same that patiently helped me two years ago with another project I needed framed. I had a lot of leg pain, and she could not have been more helpful or kind. Brought me out her stool so I could sit, and kept moving on the project. While she was measuring, another woman shopping said to me "This woman is a gem, she has helped me before." Could not agree more, wish I caught her first name, but I believe her surname is Matano? “I’ve been coming to New World Manga since the ’90s, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots. The staff is super friendly and welcoming every time I stop in. I mostly collect trade paperbacks and wish they carried a bit more of those, but that’s just my personal preference. Overall, I still love this shop and always look forward to visiting.”
