Nerger’s Auto Express was great! The team was super professional and friendly. They kept me posted and updated throughout my service and explained everything clearly. I never felt intimidated like at some other shops. They provided detailed info about my vehicle, and I’d definitely recommend them for any car needs!

Avoid at all costs, would give zero stars if I could.
I first brought in my car for noises coming from the front end wheels. Control arms and axles were replaced. Everyone was kind and I took my car home satisfied.
The next day I noticed my car shaking quite violently while accelerating and took it back to the shop, they said there was a manufacturing defect with the axles and they would be replaced under warranty. Awesome.
Upon receiving my car for the second time, same issue. Car still shaking in the exact way it was the first time.
After calling the shop again, they would not honor their previous warranty as they said that my rear brakes and tires needed replacing or they could not diagnose the shaking. (Why wasn’t this the case the first time?) My tires were a bit mismatched on an AWD car so that made sense to me at least.
I had never heard of brakes making a car shake while accelerating. I thought perhaps they had reverse engineered my car to cause the gas pedal to engage the rear brakes.
As I sat in my idling car, fully prepared to slam on the brakes in an attempt to break the land speed record, I strapped in and said a prayer. I pressed the breaks as hard as I could but to no avail, my car stood still. Devastating.
Paid to get the brakes fixed as I just really needed my car back, it had been weeks. (Over $600 for rear pads and rotors!) Lo and behold after I picked up my car for the third time it was still shaking. I was told this time around it was a transmission issue. I think you can see the pattern here.
After I pressed the issue they decided to replace my axles for a THIRD time with OEM parts (why didn’t I think of that!). At this point I had spent so much money on ubers getting to and from work that I just really needed my car back
I eventually got my car back, but I was out a lot of money and a whole lot of self respect.
Please do not take your car here unless you want to be taken advantage of. You are quite literally better off taking your car ANYWHERE else.

I’ve been going to nergers for years. Him and his team do amazing work on my vehicles on my friends vehicles and all my family’s vehicles. I wouldn’t take anybody else’s word when it comes to my car other than Nergers. When I needed to leave my car there, I needed a ride to work or to go home he’s always taken care of me. Thank you so much for everything that you do for myself my family and my friends vehicles.

Bought a used car from Ernie at Nerger’s Auto Express and was genuinely impressed. They took care of a significant amount of maintenance before delivery, all at no extra cost. The car was in great shape, and the whole process was smooth and pressure-free. Extremely fair and transparent fees as well. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at this mechanic shop.
I came in to have my oil and engine filter changed, and the team took care of everything with great attention and professionalism. The service didn’t take long, and it was done smoothly without any hassle, which made the whole process very comfortable for me.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the fair price, which makes this place even more worth recommending. The staff were polite, approachable, and clearly know what they are doing. I’m very satisfied with the quality of their work, and I will gladly recommend this shop to anyone who needs reliable car maintenance.

The profound gratitude that I have for the staff at Nerger's Auto is immeasurable. The words that following truly can't express how much I appreciate them. Yesterday while running errands with my daughter the battery light came on in my vehicle and a few short moments later the vehicle went into limp mode. I was able to get to the shop before anything serious happened. We were attended to quickly and provided a ride home with our groceries. Later that evening Kevin called me up an explained the issue and provided me with a quote. Around 12:30 today Michelle called me to tell me my vehicle was ready. I sincerely was not expecting such a quick turn around. In less than 24 hours!!! When I came in to get the vehicle, I explained how rough things were for me as my mother was having surgery the next day and I was supposed to take her to it. I was worried and stressed so much and frustrated that my vehicle was giving me problems. The burden that the Nerger family took off of my shoulders and handled with such care and promptness is truly amazing to me. I am profoundly grateful to the service technician Taylor, thank you for helping my situation. I really appreciate the whole team!
