“Such a great family-owned business! Once I realized that they carried the dog food that we use, I started to order here to support a local business. The bonus is that it's priced the same as the bigger chain store I had been going to. Even if it was higher, I have seen that the family gives back to the community and helps those in need. With 5 dogs (2 giant breed, 1 large breed, and 2 small/med) it is so convenient to order delivery every 2-3 weeks. They are so sweet and send some extra little bones with the order. Last order I received was packed by students, so it is nice to see that they are also teaching the younger generation some hands-on learning! Staff is so nice and helpful! I definitely have to take a ride there with a pup or 2 to visit!”

“Such nice people working there. A lot of the fresh baked goods had been cleared out by the end of the day. Not surprising, given my picky dog loved them. Also very high quality jackets and sweaters. MUCH nicer than what I've seen in big box stores, and the prices are actually quite reasonable.”

“Great to have a local pet supply store near to home and actually be able to shop, in person, and touch and feel things! My big Golden loves to go too… he hates online shopping… no sniffs or squeaks. Truly, it’s a great shop, easy to get to, has a big supply of food and treat choices, grooming, bedding, and much more. They also have grooming and pet washing stations. It’s a gem to have nearby”
“I’ve always had a good experience at this location for buying my cat supplies the workers are always nice. I even adopted my second cat from this pet smart. Due to work I came into the store about 10 minutes after they closed but the workers still let me grab what I needed and was out within under a minute, not a huge deal but I really appreciate it so thank you.”

“Love Golden Paws! I’m a first time dog owner and my Mini golden doodle Ozzie is a bit anxious. After trying a few groomers we found Golden Paws and have been going every 6 weeks for over a year now. Ozzie is excited to go in and loves Susan and her team, they are so sweet with him and he looks beautiful when I pick him up! “I visited the Tinton Falls, NJ store yesterday with a list in hand. Bo )the sales person) was extremely helpful in helping me find some of the items. Most importantly the connection (for my garden hose to connect to a “hose reel) with two female ends. Along with a few other items I was seeking. I also browsed around the store (enjoying some “retail therapy”). Yes, I overspent, but retail therapy was needed. Bo also helped me load up my “haul” - with the few bigger items I purchased onto my vehicle!!! Thank you, Bo? I’ll be back and hope to see Bo again! Chair and hose reel in use! My vegetable garden thanks Bo too, as it got much needed watering!”
“I had a particular setting in mind because sadly I lost both of my dogs within three months and wanted two stones set together. Katharine was so incredibly kind and helpful and communicated with me every step of the process of making my stones and giving me all the information my jeweler needed to create the setting. During such a sad time Katharine was so sweet and caring and did the most amazing job on my stones. They are absolutely beautiful. I just got my ring back from the jeweler today and couldn’t wait to show her. I cannot recommend highly enough.”

The sales associate took the time to advise me on several products. I started them when I got home and 24 hours later, my dog seems OK.
It is nice to find salespeople who are knowledgeable and don't do hard selling.
I actually went back to Petco today for more product.”

“By far, hands down … the best experience I’ve had purchasing fish. Aaron and Liz made my entire experience pleasant, while coaching me through the aquarium process. I left feeling more confident about owning fish.
Honestly, you probably could find this stuff cheaper on Amazon. But you don’t get an Aaron and Liz there. It’s about keeping small businesses alive.
If you’re thinking about starting a tank, this is the place to go. Tell them Erin sent you and maybe they will throw in some free fish food!
Additionally, I’ve seen fish in their tanks that I’ve never seen before at the chain stores.
