I really love the prices BUUUUT... They have a half aisle of nothing but clearance It says prices as marked most of the stuff has no price on it The one thing I did notice had a price was the Swiffer wood mop formula for $5.95 in the clearance aisle when you enter the aisle where it was regularly stock it was the exact same price and there were four bottles in the clearance section so there's no way it was a mistake also they had a basket filled with makeup also in the clearance section on the floor under a shelf that you had to pull out... nothing in there had a price on it I went up to the register with at least six items from this basket they all came up regular price her excuse was well sometimes people throw these in the basket by mistake...huh really???! And they just happen to find a basket on the floor under shelves that says I don't want these let me throw them in this makeup basket under all the shelves....and there were 20 bottles of the same thing of nail polish in that basket....That's not a mistake that's leading people to believe something is discounted and it is not. If this is their practice I am going to keep an eye on this....Keep an eye out for yourself or come back in a month for an updated review..."CLEARANCE?????" We will see!!!

Great Dollar general,best one in the area. The only Dollar general I've been to, that was better than this one, was downsville New York.

Nice pleasant store near the UPS store prices were fine not amazing. The woman at checkout was very pleasant as well.

Terrible customer service! There was a Sale advertised in which a product was advertised as priced... when I walked up to the counter, I was over charged and left the store. Returned to store to try and get the Sale price that I was lied to about and was told that the Sale was tomorrow...In which I asked, "Why did the other items that I just bought come up on Sale today???"... No answers! So when I went to a different Dollar General they simply said that that person must have been Lazy because all you would have had to have done was make an adjustment ??♂️

Dawn is always so friendly and sweet. Love her! Tracy was also very helpful. Had a question about an out of stock item and she wrote it down and said she would ask the rep and look into it Couldn’t be happier! Great crew!!!!!

I visited the Brick NJ store this morning to grab some misc items and had the pleasure of meeting their employee Tracy (not sure of spelling). She seemed to be wearing MANY hats, but didn't flinch when I interrupted her work for a price check. A little later my search took me to another aisle where she was then working and she asked if she could help me find an item I was searching for. On my way out, there she was again at the register. She was pleasant and made small talk for a few moments--and I proceeded to the door leaving my debit card in the PayPad . She ran after me to return it before I even left the sidewalk. Dollar General was my last stop today, so I don't know how long it would have taken to realize I didn't have the card. My shopping experience was made better today by Tracy, as was my next purchase attempt (when my card would have been missing)!!! Thank you again Tracy!!

I visited this store last Sunday and tried to make a purchase. There was no one at the register so I went to the self service one. I tried using it when the cashier came over and told me to wait as she was putting in new receipt paper. I obliged. When ready (as per this cashier), I proceeded to try to scan my item. It had a box on the screen that said CONTINUE. She instructed me to touch the continue. As soon as I did this, someone else's order came up. She then told me to come to the regular register. While getting my money out to pay, the manager came over bc obviously the other register had to be cleared. This cashier told the manager that people shouldn't use the machine if they don't know what they are doing (meaning me). With this, I walked out vowing to never shop there again. I know many stores are short handed but clerks like this make me a faithful eBay shopper.

If I could give this store no stars, I would. I go to dollar general all the time because it’s only a min away from my house and it has everything I need for the most part. However, there’s always this cashier who is skinny and her name is patty, I believe, who always seems to have this nasty attitude. She works in retail but has no patience’s for customers, it baffles me. Anyway, I go in there tonight with my two children and a friend. We are looking at the chips and my two children; ages 7 & 3 are talking. Yes maybe being loud but they are just having a conversation amongst each other. Well this cashier patty turns to them and yells, “I cannot have you guys hollering in this store.” So I asked for the manager on duty and she was the manager on duty… she was very rude, disrespectful and she does not know how to talk to people. But dollar general is probably desperate for staff like every where else and needed a manager and gave her the position. But it’s very sad, how you could be so nasty to children that are not even yours, rude to all your customers and just so disrespectful.

Beware they use a risk management program called Certergy. Which means they can refuse your check no matter how much money you have in your bank account.
