0 stars if I that was an option. Do not go to this company. They say me down and said the fee would be $350 to do my taxes. I later checked my invoice after I realized my taxes had not returned in full amount only to look at my invoice and wa Schaefer $500.00 that Anthony Verile had charged for typing in some numbers. I went back and the manager did absolutely nothing and backed up this literal THEFT. I'd rather have a monkey do my taxes wrong than get robbed from these people with smiles on their faces. Absolutely disgraceful.

My family and I love coming to H\\u0026R block to see Anthony. He is very friendly and patient with us. He always knows exactly what to look for and making sure it's done correctly. We usually get our return very quickly. We truly appreciate it. Thank you! :)

I wish I had read a YELP review prior to my experience with H &R Block. I would NOT recommend anyone using the services of this company, specifically the office located on Brick Blvd., Brick Township,NJ. My husband & I made an appointment, on 2/14/22 (to meet with MS. Leah Bilotti), to file our 2021 taxes. At the time of our appointment, we were told there would be a $39.99 filing fee, along with a "percentage fee" determined by the amount we were due to receive back in our tax refund. After MS. Bilotti disclosed the refund amount, my husband opted [to pay] an additional $40 insurance protection fee-should any errors, or miscalculations, incur, during the filing process. Without giving specific numerical details, please note: we have 1 dependent (21 months old), and between my husband and myself, we made less than $46,000 annually. The icing on the cake was what we actually received...$2800.00 LESS than what we told we would receive. This was the second, and last time we will ever use H & R BLOCK'S services; the first time was in 2005. Until this recent visit, I/we have used a private accountant...which I, now, frustratingly, regret not using this tax season. In closing, I would would like to add that I have never posted anything on YELP. However, I feel it is not only important, but my responsibility, as a (now) knowledgeable person who has, very unfortunately, been taken advantage of by this company's service. Do yourself a favor and use a private accountant, while saving hundreds of dollars and HOURS of stress.

I have been coming to HR Block for years. This year I moved and had a new analyst named Anthony. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain things in full.
